I remember someone called Denali (I think) who came and challenged evreyone in the, then extremely popular, Photoshop competitions. When eventually one or two people gave in to his barrage of irritating posts and took on the challenge, he never came back. Hee was a chimp!

Who remembers LEBSTA and 'the siccest 240 sx ever' that he used to hand-code into every post? And how he hysterically denied being the same person as LITTLE LEBO who had registered about 3 days earlier and posted in exactly the same style?

I had fun with SKILLZ too. What is it with these people who feel the need to use all caps, especially in their names?

Alexy2k/Alex_gt was always one of my favorite members. He replaced half of the words in his posts with smilies, and he left GTP when Jordan took out a lot of the smilies for GTP5.

meme was a riot, I think he still comes here occasionally as F1Man, but it's not the same.

Remember when Darin changed his name to Josh7029384785 for some reason?

I was here for the closing of HMRCWG, and the tail end of it, when the thread was ruined by the likes of meme and dchamham(spock) and eventually closed.

I remember when the rumple club was used as a way to weed out the idiots from the rest of GTP.

Coincidently it was a week or so after Josh left the forums for a year or so.

I remember Skillz, some thread in the GT4 forum about chrome wheels or something. Shinez was hillarious, I swear he was banned the most, ahh no allah_allmighty!

Don't forget deliveratortitan (Klonie Gun) who would make you cry blood.

Ahh and the memorys of the now gone (to a forum I can't see probably) of TCB, initially when it was just me Shannon, M5 and Dudebusta. And then later on when My crotch decided to intervene with various whinging noises.

What about that llama thing i think Klos started. It was the body of a llama with the head of a leech or something, right?

Ah yes I remember those avatars. They were funny for awhile. Then like most things they got old.

Mayorbill started the Walamas, not Klos.

Speaking of Mayorbill, I kinda miss him. Even though he was a major asshole, most of the people he insulted deserved it, and he was hilarious when he'd insult them.

Oh yeah, the AMC guy.

Didn't he find a way to get out of being banned by making a new username the same, but with a space at the end? Or something like that?

Ahh.. The good old days. I read through this whole thread, and have been here for almost every event posted. Boy do i feel old... I believe i'm going on three years being here in this upcoming January. I remember the days of the HMRCWG, the Goodnight thread, PR's car being stolen, MistaX's SCGT thing, the LFS thing.. I didn't necessarily come from the GTF, but i found GTP via GTF.. Though i guess that counts.

I remember the days when members like Magic069, Sn00pie, neon_duke, etc., were alot more active than they are today.. Though, i myself must have fallen pretty far behind. I also recall the top 10 posters thing, as i was partly participating in the race as well. I also remember that the way people grabbed more posts was by visiting every available forum and posting in a topic that they didnt even care about.. Oh the days when every forum's last post were inhabited by the name of MistaX or Josh.

I've been here through the good times in my life and the bad. The times im having now being the good... I'm sure if you were to search through my posted topics, you'd find about 4 or 5 different threads about my problems. I remember all the members coming to give me advice on what to do, how to do it, etc.. - I never really hid any of my life from GTP. When there was a problem, i posted it and asked for help, although i think all of the times i asked for help was more or less about the same thing. Then my name change from gt2_gs to the current... Anyway, i'm rambling.

All i know is that there are too many memories to list, from my noobie days up until now, but it's really cool to be able to look back on them with so many other people who were around for the same things as i. It also makes me feel good that someone mentioned me in one of their memories. Don't really know why, but i suppose i'm just weird like that.

Anyway, it's been a good time and i'm looking forward to more good times, even if i don't post often. Thanks to everyone for the good memories, - That includes MistaX, PunkRock, Josh, Sn00pie, Neon_duke, Tercel_driver, Shannon (aka eddy at the time), StevieMo, Magic069, Giancarlo, Rumple Foreskin, and also the countless others who arent even here anymore, or i just cant remember. Big thanks to Jordan for the forums, as well!

EDIT: Oh! And we can't forget about the GTP News ticker, the countless other knock off tickers, and the blank user title fad (of which i still have)!

I've got quite an addition here.

I remember CudaMan and TruenoAE86, and their awesome drift films. They truly represent what GT3 drifting is all about. Not one of the videos from the recent GT3 Drift threads has gotten even close to on-par with those of the master's. I recently checked out Cuda's photo site, and it seems he has a new 1988 RX-7 GTU. It's pretty sweet.

Oh for those who don't know them...
CudaMan was the originator of many GT3 drifting fads you see today. If you need proof, go grab his 2 vids.
Gran Dorifto I
Gran Dorifto II

And for those thinking a 360 to drift is something new, please go check out TruenoAE86's vid.

Opposite Lock

Yeah i remember those videos.. Truely amazing. Too bad the capture wasn't better though.. I never did have a chance to check out that 360 drift thing.. Hm.

Whinging my arze. I just wanted to know why you set up the Tuscan with a rear end looser then a 85c hooker. And also I got upset at Shannon because he would tell me how to align text left. :grumpy:

Yea, the 26000 - 50000 posts in TCB were the best. Bastige, Rumple Tightskin, Shannon, TVR just wasted the day(s). Later 911 and DRIFT. Although the prime had past by then.

milefile tearing teresa_driver a new one was a lark. I also remember a 'General Knowledge" thread with Boom and Rumple well. And Boom being David Hasselhoff for a bit:tup: That was pretty cool.

I don't remember much, having missed most of it, but this thread is pretty legendary in itself for bringing back everything I didn't see.

The days when almost every other thread in the Comedy Corner were started by Mike Rotch, and almost every single one made me fall of my chair.

Rumple was awesome. Shame he doesn't come here very often any more.

I've seen Rumple popping up everynow on MSN, containing the words 'I'm going to be a daddy!' in his username. So we can tell that whereever he is now, he's been busy.

Actually, Mayorbill was a racist asshole. I'm glad he's gone. If you get banned from GTP and GTF, you officially suck.

Remember when...

...everyone used M5Power's avatar?

...Ghost C posted photos of what a hard-ass he was in his trailer?

...Tepid_driver resurrected fifty "I'm ashamed to talk to about women" threads?

...when milefile has pretty much ripped everyone a new one in the past two years?

...when Loud Music made us all post in a pirate's voice for a day?

...when Max E. claimed he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, yet didn't realise he was only good at one thing....playing a damn video game?

...when your initial title was "Needs to Post More"?

3 whole years. It's amazing. I have so many great memories of this place.

Starting websites with super moderator Jon.
Racing for the GTP team.
Late night phone calls with MazKId, MIstaX, and AcidX.
Josh and I getting a member to believe I was a secret super mod.
Me getting banned on 3 different occasions. (Still here too!)
Having that BMW mod guy go ape**** and delete a bunch of threads.
The 2 years of SOF2 with MistaX.
Discussing my old relationship with Kaley to Doug.
Me making the 10,000th member account.
The GTP Ticker.
Watching the crazyness of DeliveratorTitan.
Being a member of the Pass and 'll Foundation.

It's been a fun 3 years.

I really miss the old days! When the most active members were people like Josh, Concept, PR, Doug, Klos, Y2Tuscan/M5Mower, Doug, Cory, John, Giles, Vat and whoever I'm forgetting.

Who remembers the "design studios" that started to pop up everywhere? Or Klos and I trying to pull a LoudMusic by making more avatars on a weekly basis than is recommended for any healthy person.

MistaX online radio!

4-hour AIM conversations with Doug. Mostly about Enrique Iglesias, and how he dies in that video.

When Jordan used to post outside the Q&C forum.

It's been really cool to see the multimedia section grow to where it's at now, with a great variety of competitions and one of the coolest photochopping scenes online -- a lot of which we owe to PunkRock's hard work in keeping things up to date and active!

The Pass and 'LL Foundation, which reached a high-point where everybody wanted in!

To see the moderator team grow, which is exceptionally strong at the moment, with additions like Der Alta, neon_duke, Sage and Giles, has been great too!

I can't belive I started that off, then milefile did it and then everyone else followed.

that guy from there

Oh man that guy sucked fairly hard!

And I remember reading your conversation Enrique Iglesias, and how he dies in that video.

Also I remember Mister X constantly ripping the piss out of me for using a Pentium 2.
