Amen to that brother. . . It seems in my absence things have progressed here a ton at GTP. Funny that I am even remembered around these parts : )

Who does remember tercel_driver?

I remember being one of the three people that pushed him over the edge. He truly was a hateful soul and it is a shame that one could look at life the way he did. I would just like to throw some credit over to Ghost and Mile for helping remove a cancer from GTP : )

Don't forget such great spam threads like the Two Question Game and such that followed. Many users lost a lot of posts in those Spam infested cluster-**** threads : )

I must say GTP has done a lot for me and was always a great thing to do whilke working tech support back in the day. It was funny watching many get banned. I do also remember when the drifting forum first moved into GTP and boy did things start to get ugly with grammar. . . Speaking of which where is Captain Obivous, Grammar Man, Mr Dictionary? ? ?

Doug's crashed cars. One of his first threads were about him crashing his Suburban. About a year later he crashes a Cadilac rental car into a Bus in NY. Sues NY Transit, wins, got rich. Bought about 30 cars between then and now.

Actually, This is the story:

He was at a light, with his old female coworker driving. The light went green, she pulled off, a garbage truck ran the red and hit them.
He broke his arm. He sued NY's Department of Public Works, won millions, bought an oil field, atleast doubled his money, sold it, and now works for Nissan doing...nothing... and has millions.
