GTP Rolex | Season 5 | Complete! Help Plan!

Could you expand on this?

About the last 3-8 laps (Not actually sure when) he caught to me, and damu at the 100R, but I left him by before entering the hairpin to avoid contact him. After that, he goes to pass damu, and this is where i'm a bit confuse. For the next lap, james tries to find a way to pass damu, but seems he can't. I'm not sure if damu was intentionally blocking him, or james was slow. By the end of that lap, james was still trying pass damu on the straight. The following lap, when we got to Netz (Turn 15), james went off, & I unlapped him. When we got to the straight again, james got my draft, and he finally manage to pass the both of us. That's the story of how hard it is for james to pass someone, somebody, or something.

  1. James Lap 25 - Between 5 & 6 James laps Tex.
  2. Turn 6 James locks up allowing me to remain ahead.
  3. Turn 10 James seems to need to take evasive action to avoid me on a normal line.
  4. Turn 15 he goes flying off allowing Tex to unlap himself (relaped on straight).
  5. James Lap 26 - Turn 6, James corners it poorly and so i extend a bit of a gap.
  6. Turns 8-10 I intentionally hugged right throughout to make sure he would go around and be off, as I didn't trust his braking. Instead he hits me going into the braking zone and I almost get familiar with the barrier (though I didn't fully brake as I didn't want to be hit a second time).
  7. Turns 10-12 after recovering from the chicane I take it normally then have to take evasive action in order to avoid hitting James out of T 12.

All said and done, beats his Monza performance from S1 when we consistently lapped his DP 🤬 .

I don't recall this but if I did that I am sorry.

I think it was more of a nudge, but it was just the fact that it was where it was that it had such an effect. It's cool though, my competitive edge is gone completely and any further attendance is going to be heavily heat of the moment based.

Sorry I didn't show up during this season. I haven't really been busy, but there's this divorce thing (I go to my dad's every two weeks) that makes it really hard to join races, besides the fact that I totally suck in those DP's and I'm not having much time in the PS3 (there's always someone using the tv where my PS3 is plugged in).

But I'll try to race somehow, not next week because I have this friend who's graduating from college and I'm going to his party.

I'd like to try the Zonda, eventually. Maybe if there's no one on DP I can get a win.

Points, really not sure about the team's points, bit confused on who raced what. I think I got it right with two per car. Let me know if I messed it up!

How soon is the Zonda debuting in DP?

Tbh, I would do it after INDY.

That is, if enough people want it. If only 2/3 people want it, keep things as is. If it would make DP grids worth it, 5ish, after Indianapolis.

So, we shall start a list.

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Only sign the list if you will make the majority of races.

I really don't think switching mid season is good, but there hasn't been a DP class at the last two races, so something needs to be done.

Hello guys, sorry about James, I assumed it was ok for him to race as nobody told me to kick him. Sorry you missed the race Polar, I started at 6:20 my time (7:20 EST). I suppose I could have waited a little longer but its hard for me to have solo internet too late into the evening.

I actually have 27 pts if you add them up Polar, also others on the GT chart have too low a pts it seems (didn't check DP).

Naw, you guys were fine. Just me overreacting.

I think I screwed some up too, was a bit confusing with new people and stuff

Mustard, did I give you the wrong amount of points? I believe I added correctly

Yet another blonde moment for polar :P

No, blonde moment for rich!

Anyways, I'm most likely not going to be there tomorrow, storm, damu, gaz, and Cnd are mainly incharge

Although I think most everyone knows the deal.

Have fun! Long race!

Any times?

Cnd, unless I make a jump to DP, looks like you're probably going to be the only DP guy in the field. Ant's moved to GT, although chances are he'll switch back again once if another DP guy is there... the rest of DP is either inactive, or has also made a switch. You have James, but... it's James... so have fun with being handed the win.

I'm not liking the organisation of this season, we had one guy who hadn't actually joined officially racing in GT as well... which he seemed like a decent enough guy and was definitely a very good/quick racer... but I doubt we'll be lucky to have a guy like that again; knowing us, the next one's who randomly shows up is going to be a complete tool...

I'm really caught in two minds as to whether to continue, and as a result, I've not practiced at all for this weekend. Might just race to see out the season, and make sure things don't go sideways, but I'm losing motivation, which is never good.

I might regret this but...
I want to race this round, I know I'm not good and won't be any competition but, I can't see DP die.
