Cnd, unless I make a jump to DP, looks like you're probably going to be the only DP guy in the field. Ant's moved to GT, although chances are he'll switch back again once if another DP guy is there... the rest of DP is either inactive, or has also made a switch. You have James, but... it's James... so have fun with being handed the win.

I'm not liking the organisation of this season, we had one guy who hadn't actually joined officially racing in GT as well... which he seemed like a decent enough guy and was definitely a very good/quick racer... but I doubt we'll be lucky to have a guy like that again; knowing us, the next one's who randomly shows up is going to be a complete tool...

I'm really caught in two minds as to whether to continue, and as a result, I've not practiced at all for this weekend. Might just race to see out the season, and make sure things don't go sideways, but I'm losing motivation, which is never good.

I understand your point Storm but, I not understand why you lost the motivation.....we had a nice and close battle last two races (Nurburgring and Fuji) even with a new guy who showed be clean and quick, he didn't registered but he respected all the rules we have...This change for me was a new motivation because I was very boring racing only me in DP, now I found a new challenge and that is great for the rest of the championship! (from my view of course).

It's a very complicated reason, Ant. Although, putting it simply with a key point, I probably should've taken up DP this season. DP's has a few guys that have been unable to race due to commitments or issues, so now the active DP guys are filling GT spots.

I think another thing is that recently I've been seeing people throwing the car, semi-drift, into corners and there's no repercussions on their tyres or their lap times as a result. Not necessarily restricted to Rolex...

I can't race up at 10am, you guys know that though with me being a reserve. As for the rest of them, I dunno.

Seems like a lot of people just decided they didn't need to come.

It was a bad combo of summer, no activity on here, and lack of communication.

Sorry guys, I messed it up too bad earlier. Sorry, we really just need to ride the rest of the season out.

Oh, MONSTER mentioned something I find quite justified, since the four of us didn't decide to quit even though we could've done, I reckon we should all get +5 pts for dedication... I think that's more than fair enough.

Did you guys run the full distance??
 
We ran 41 laps, but that's only because we gave time for people to join. We'd have started dead on time and ran full distance had we not waited half an hour more.
 
Great race....very fun and close...it's a shame only 4 drivers but the fight for the lead was too interesting! Anyway, I prefer quality before quantity!!
* I will be there next saturday...!!

I really appreciated you slowing down in the last 10 laps. I nearly took the back bumper off of your pretty silver Ferrari before I realised you were slowing down. You were better for pace and consistency, although it was probably only about 0.2 or 0.3 seconds each lap, not counting errors I made that put me back an extra 0.4 seconds now and then. Very good at the end, I wanted to smile but I was too focussed on driving. 👍

I must confess, I did brake before the line. 0.084 seconds was the gap, although it would have been interesting to see who'd have won had I not braked, but because you waited for me so we could battle, I wanted to make sure I didn't cheat you out of a deserved win.

It's a shame the people couldn't enjoy this fun race...maybe next time. I don't understand how the season it had the best beginning now has only 4 or 5 drivers. But is not only this serie, the most has the same problem!!

Sorry guys I was out watching a triathlon today and totally forgot about the Rolex race. :scared: I hope I didn't totally destroy the turnout. :scared:

Real sorry, in the fall/winter I have alot more time to commit to these. :(

With regard to the GT NAEC points. Is only one race counting in the standings or how are they being calculated?

Thats what I thought, I just wanted to be sure that something wasn't changed because the totals aren't updated after tonights race.
