Can't wait until tomorrow morning guys. I just hope I don't accidently knock someone off the track (I'd feel so bad). Hopefully no major mistakes will occur though, and it should be a brilliant series of races. 👍
 
I hope you do get in, GTP_Timppaq... they were some great races we had last night.

Anyway... I'm off for the rest of the evening, so next time I'll see you all is at 06:09 👍. If I crash, I'll blame it on my lack of reflexes (considering it’ll be shortly after rising out of bed). :lol: ... Just like to clear that up now, so you don't all hate me tomorrow.

Evidently, some people have something to prove. Well, thats good for me, sounds like some people will be on edge and very likely to make mistakes. It also sounds like some nasty arguments could occur.....

Hopefully everyone remembers this is primarily for fun.

Don't worry, friday & saturday evening are when we all meet online @ GT5net,

for us was a normal evening + teesting some news cars & set up :sly:

We will play for fun and fairplay 👍
 
1st post updated so please read. make sure your times are correct, car colour and its PP please.
I forgot to add Timmpaq in so is it ok to put him in Group A. ( there will be 11 drivers).
So the drivers from that group let me know.
If its not O.K then ille withdraw my name as i made the mistake

Little questions :

What happen if all players from one race can't connect in the same race ?

What happen if there's a disconection during a race ?

Is there any chat box available to communicate each other ?

I will have a captain in every group who will be in charge of communication & we will all (GT5net) be connected to Skype for the duration of the event.

In case, if multiple problems occurs, wouldn't it be wise to allow not 4 but 8 time spot for each group (and for fun if no poblem occurs ;))

We, GTNDC & GTRP, are probably connected via teamspeak, so we can get all in at the same time, even if we restart a race.

How about getting a captain for race and checks if the race is complete. If not, all going to quit and restart 5 minutes later. For example at 22:05.

This would have worked but the timeframe is now to close to be restarting.
you guy with teamspeak may be better but some people do not have this.
if there were 2 groups only then you haD alot of time to be able to restart.
If you restart like you said say at 2205 then you may sync with the guys who are starting in group c at 2206 because sometimes the joining race screen does take more than a minute to join.
i could go away and change all the times for the races, any suggestions

we can then restart if there is a problem within 5 minutes.
only problem is some people may not see these times now and may join in the wrong time.
we should leave it to the original time and as ive said in the begining this is a test to see how it goes and if it goes well we could improve for something better that i have for next week.

if theres a diconnection then start at your next race time.
eg you started at 2300 your time in France and you are dissconected after 2 minutes then you start at your next race time which for you in france is 2315 French time
 
I think it is better like that... 5 minutes is best 👍

I will have all my guy's before tonight so no problem for changing times now ;)

There may be confusion in starting times but basically
people in the U.K (their local time) will start at 2200 (group A).
for the same race for people in group A this will be 2300 local time in France and Germany.
eg i am in the U.K so i will start at 2200
JMR, Wayne and RudiRacer will start at 2300 their local time as they are in France and German.

I think you're getting confused with the time zones. We Brits aren't GMT at the moment, we are GMT +1 BST (British Summer Time) http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/. Therefore a start time of 22.00 GMT is actually 23.00 BST for us Brits.


EDIT...

...Isn't Europe also on daylight saving, and therfore make them GMT +2?

Just keep to the GMT scheduled times and let all the drivers work out their own time differences by using this site http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

5hours 40 minutes to go
 
Ive been out there @ suzuka 600pp most of the morning, I have narrowed it down to 3 cars, Either my tuned Clio, BMW M3 or the RX7 all in red of course, 5 hours 34 mins left for GROUP C
 @ time of post not edit.
 
Anybody now posting if you could just calculate how much time is left for the race and post it like i have done and GTP_hyperuk. So we can see that you know what time it starts
 
Just posting this to see the posting time... :) Dont want to miss the race.
Edit: OK, now I´m on the map. And thanks everyone for allowing me the late participation!!! Now I have to go read the 1st. post and hone my tune right... Been busy the hole day!!!

Thankfully, im not in your group, so it wont be me :)

I hadnt tried the NSX till today, and I quickly changed my mind about using a 512BB..
