Just for information Mates.

Changed my nick from ofronk to GTRP_ofronk.
Will make it easier to recognize me if you can see my back :sly:

@ WayneGTC: No, I'm coming to the same result for Germany.

In GB, you don't distinguish between summer- and wintertime?! Is that right?!

Because of summertime, GB is GMT +1 at the moment, and France and Germany are GMT +2. :dopey:

here in the UK we start at 2200 UTC/GMT and you guys in France and Germany will start at 2300 your time.
checking my world clock it is now
1540 in London
1640 in Paris
1640 in Berlin
 
Right so the UK is plus 1 GMT at the moment due to it being summer time, then for us in the UK it will be taking place at 11pm and for those in Germany it will be 12pm. If this is the case then there is a good chance that I will be able to attend (providing there is still spare room for a new enterant :D) Would I be allowed to join if I could confirm myself available?

Edit: I think I am confusing myself with the timings, I have never really considered daylight saving times.

Look, just forget GMT right now. Just remember it like this:
Start time UK: 22:00 (10 o'clock)
Start time France and Germany: 23:00 (11 o'clock)

If you have your PS3 connected to the internet for its time, then it will be correct, you dont need to change anything due to GMT or anything because the internet timing will do it automatically, all computers sort out daylight savings time automatically (or at least, should do).

From what I can tell the UK as of now is GMT + 1 which is what has been causing confusion. I am aware you intended to work off UK time GMT isn't always UK time. It might be a good idea to edit the original post so that it is clear that we are running of UK time and not GMT time.

Appologies for making this seem more complex than it is. :D

please check
just jumped from 35 drivers to 40 in the last 2 minutes.
10 drivers in each group. please check your names and racing times. (hope i havnt added anyone twice)
Time to pick your cars and start tuning.

Any questions or problems please ask.
Anything doesnt look right please say so.

Maybe you should highlight the people who will be recording each race on video. Just a heads up, to make sure you elude these people :lol: . I may be filming a race or two… but I’ll have to turn the volume right down, being 6AM and all.

Good groups… glad I’m up against GTRP_Crashdummy. We’ve had a few good races in the past 👍

Probably because he felt that each Boards members would like to be with each other, although I dont see he couldnt have made it 2 in B and 2 in C.
Im sure he had his reasons, still, its not a bad matchup, although Ive only driven against a couple of people in Group C, so this is going to be interesting.

I've raced a lot with my teammates...so for me it's more interesting the other way...

I have no problem if it stays like it is, was just wondering:D

Nah, I cant, I unfortunately do not own our PS3.....and Im unable to get back on it till tomorrow evening.
Fortunately, I did get quite a bit of practice in today, testing a variety of cars and tunes. Im looking at running an XK or 512BB come race time.

Will be up for some practice tomorrow night before the race.
 
Is there at least 2 people in each group that have a way to take a good picture of the results at the ends of the races?

2 people will be needed incase one of them dosent connect or one dosent get to take the picture.

ok.
at 1st i had 2 GTNDC members in group A, jmr and Madforce.
then had a pm from jmr stating that he and Madforce cant sync together etc so i moved madforce out of there and put in Stachi who now has moved to group b again.
Rudi Raser was at 1st racing for Gtrp and now is racing for GTNDC after i got a message from Kloppher.
I then get an pm from JRM again saying that Sphinx will be racing for GTNDC, so i put in you into group A as that was the next available space as there were only 9 racers in each group etc.
i tried toeven it out as fairly as possible
theres 3 GTNDC and 3 GTRP in group A (highest numbers)
4 GTNDC in group B and 2 from the others
4 GTP's in group c and 3 each from gt5net and gtrp
4 GTRP and 3 each from gtp and gt5net
so looking at that it equals it out overall.
only problem was i had less GTNDC members so they didnt go into the last groups.
Anymore questions and does that explain it ok or am i talking jibberish:sly:
 
Just leave the organising to uk86ze, he has spent hours on it and if you ask me he has done an excellent job:tup:

Just hope it all works out.:)

yep if people are happy to from B to C then ille do it.
so illemove you and Strachi into group c but who wants to move from group C to B.
i dont want to move people and then having complaints that they were happy in C.

So anyone from Group C want to move to Group B then let me know please asap.
to be honest ime happy with the way it is.
