Went shopping at the local mall yesterday for odds & ends I needed for a few different things, like a padlock and a replacement drill bit - something almost got into our shed a few nights ago and I was tasked with getting the necessary equipment to reinforce the lock. Add in trying to find a gift for my mother, and you get a fun trip... to a crowded mall.
Of course, my phone died and I hadn't charged it (and don't own a car charger) so I went in unprotected.

Christmas songs all over the place. Some dirty cover of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" in Sears. Jingle Bell Rock in the sporting goods store. Only song I could pick out that wasn't a Christmas song was, weirdly enough, More Than This by Roxy Music (incidentally, I found a new band to listen to) being played in Bath and Body Works...

Only real good thing was that there was no George to be heard (and most certainly not seen.)

Last Christmas, I watched Doctor Who
But the previous day, I got Whammed anyway
This year, it wasn't Jordan
Instead it was The Hunger Games

@Daniel, I've been Whammed. And considering the image in the OP, it happened at a pretty appropriate venue: Mockingjay Part 2. During all of the ads and promos before the film actually started, at some point there was an ad for some radio station playing Christmas music, because it's that time of year. When that ad came on, I was thinking "Oh no, are they gonna play it?", and then I heard those familiar words.

I'm not modding my avatar though.

Dumb question but, how do you put the Wham stamp on your avatar?
Any image-editing software can do it. If you don't know the techniques then someone will most likely be willing to help.

And yet another reason NOT to go to the theater during Christmas time.

Next Saturday I will be gone to Adelaide on a family vacation and won't be back until New Year's Eve.

I'll tell if I've been whammed or not when I am there once I get back (though it is very unlikely).
