Bit of a whammicide going on by the looks of it. Some say ban Xmas CD's some say it's their eight to bare CD's. Hot topic over the pond I see. Let's just hope for no Semi Automatic Whamers.
 
Today I have cheated death.
Went shopping in 5 different places, all were playing some sort of Christmas music. From Boney M to John Lennon.
Waiting in line to pay, minding my own business as I suddenly heard those two familiar words. Thank god it was only the cover version.
I guess that was some kind of warning. So no more shopping for me now.
 
Nobody can Wham me. This is awesome. :D
 
In Germany the public-service radio station WDR5 does not play the song anymore.
 
I dodged a bullet yesterday as I had to buy bits for a suit. I had no headphones and lots of Christmas songs playing, but, thankfully Massimo Dutti is very tasteful. Also the shopping mall I go to kinda hates Christmas songs, for no apparent reason, which is a damn fine thing. Also radios here are starting to play occasional Christmas tunes, nothing important yet. I'm safe and I feel very safe.
 
Keith Lemon appears to have dipped back under the radar with his evil advert. Not counting his dastardly acts, I am still to hear the song with lyrics, so technically I am still in despite being out.

Be happy that people are taking it safe. Most people don't want to risk a Wham by sharing the video to others.

Noooooo! I was doing a beer run in the car and it came on the radio. I should of used my mp3 player I was being extra careful by muting adverts ect.

Well on the bright side, you now have an extra purpose in the beer run since the booze can now be used to drown your sorrows due to being Whammed.

Well I'm out. For the first time in the three Christmas seasons I have worked here they play the Wham! version. REALLY long shot in the dark here but, our franchise is owned by a Greer Companies and they're out of Kentucky; is this just a coincidence @Jordan?

Didn't join this year, because it didn't seem like I had a chance. Figured I'd be out by now, but surprisingly I haven't heard the song yet. They did ask me to find the Christmas music at work this year though, so that was a good thing.

You guys may also want to be careful when visiting :gtplanet:, @Jordan got a lot of us last year.

I will only listen to my playlists or EDM (@The Stig Farmer) or certain other genres. Thanks for the heads up though.
 
Eeek! Very close shave the other day when I heard a radio ad which used the opening part of the song but not the original. Have resorted to 6 cd changer as travelling a fair bit to and from work right now :scared:
 
Still have not heard christmas music yet. :)

If you've got "Play Music", then Mobile shouldn't be a problem ;). Nothing but deadmau5 and Underworld occupies mine at the moment
