I never formally entered this year, but the competition has left me with the instinct to avoid that song either way - Alas, Sainsbury's caught me off guard in my first shop of December. Boo.

Was in auto class today, and the teacher put on Christmas music. Earbuds went in, but they're not really noise cancelling. Most stressful 58 minutes of my life.

My main hope at work is that the sound of all the machines drowns out the radio since most of the tannoy speakers are off.

If you're in the UK, don't listen to the Chart Show on Radio 1 this Friday (if you do normally), as Last Christmas is currently at number 19 in the midweek chart.

One of the teachers at the school I clean plays the radio when i'm cleaning and Radio 1 is his preferred choice if I recall correctly... :scared:

Ok, Not good. :nervous:

Warning to all Portuguese: Avoid RFM radio station. There is a prelude of sorts between song that has a Christmas song montage. There might be some Wham! in there but it's well masked under, probably, 785321 layers of auto tune. As if George wasn't bad enough.

@TB @Daniel
I am out,
I whammed myself.
Reason: Girlfriend is angry at me for telling the truth when someone else asked about us. Really? What was I supposed to do, Lie and I feel guilty? No thank you.

Came to check on you gents and wow, the casualties are beginning to pile up.

:irked:

All this UnWham!liness just curdles my cream.

...what :lol:

And just like that, Im out.

How? You had time to run away :lol:

Abra
Kadabra
AlakazWham!

Don't even joke like that, you'll awaken the god of whamming.

Lastly as I just found out, Texas is no longer immune to the infernal song, even in a damned as for the station.

@Daniel I'm out. Whammed by a corporation attracting magpies. My DFW friends, be vigilant, Texans be wary.
.

Oh..no...

I don't even know what that means. :odd:

I got blamed for telling the truth to someone who my "girlfriend" hates.
Which is me telling to someone that this person hates you when asked how I know her.
What should I say? Oh she just adores you and go to town?

Yea but how/why did you Wham! yourself? :confused:

And her reaction was to play Wham?

That's low.

I've been bragging to friends about not hearing it yet.

In other words, it's only a matter of time.

I'm flying to Japan tomorrow morning, and here's hoping I don't get Whammed at either airports...or maybe on the train once I arrive at Osaka.

Noooooo! First year and I Whammed myself.
I was watching a video of some Asian dude lip synching to Christmas songs while his mom drives.
So out of curiosity of what songs he was making ridiculous face's too, I unmuted my phone. Guess what song came up as soon as I was enjoying the video... It hit me, I just froze and thought of GTP.
Curse you FB friend who shared it!!

@Daniel

We've moved to the Christmas playlist at work but it's slightly different this year. I've heard Wizard and Mariah Carey as per usual, but also weird remixes of jingle bells and even Run DMC but no Wham! yet.

Even though I wasn't participating this time because I forgot to sign up in time, I was whammed! yesterday by a TV advert for a Christmas CD while I was making a cup of tea :(

The dreaded song finally appeared on the radio for the first time just now when I was coming home from work. Thankfully I still have my car radio on mute and the DAB radio tells me what song is playing at the time.

I chortled all the way home. You're not outsmarting me this time MFR.

Carrie Underwood version plays in the local Albertsons. Not sure a store out here would play the real thing, but I know DFW isn't immune anymore so it may eventually be a regular thing.

@Daniel

So whenever my father leaves the house, he leaves the TV on with music to detract people who may want to break into the house, making them think someone's home. Usually he leaves it on classic rock or the 70's station. In December, he loves leaving it on the Christmas music channel.

Guess what came on when I go in to shut it off.

Here lies ThrasherDBS.
