Most likely dropping out of the races this week, my son's Bday that day. Good luck all!

I know I won't be able to race the EU, though I may race the NA if it doesn't mean splitting the field. I won't be sure of my schedule until tomorrow.

I don't think we have to worry about a grid split for NA this week so please show up if you can make it. Kevin is already a maybe.

For EU I may also not make it depending on work schedules/meetings, but I'm still hoping. Doesn't look like a room split will be required there either.

We've also got to expect the 1 to 2 last minute cancels anyway so I'd say it's a safe bet we can run in a single lounge.

I did have one idea if we want to push the grid size a little. We could all practice in GTP_3D3Racing with mics enabled and coordinate before the race. Then at quali time one host goes over to GTP_3D3_B which could have mics disabled and everyone could follow minutes later. I like mics on, especially for admin notices, but this would allow mics for pre-race coordination and we may not need them for the actual race.

NOTE: I logged in as GTP_3D3Racing and reset the lounge settings after the update was installed so the lounge should be usable today. Hopefully Marc will run practice today for EU as I have a meeting and won't be able to make it.

Just registered to participate on the NA, its my first time signing up for one of these races, anything I need to know other than the first post?

You first need to be a member of the GTP_Registry, by running the qualifier. The next round of Registry submissions will be processed in the next couple weeks, FYI. If you miss that deadline, you may be stuck waiting another month to get verified into the Registry.

Are you listed in the official GTP_Registry? I see you registered for the driver database using GTP_EddNinhs, but I don't see that PSN listed in the registry.

If you are not on the official registry then you'll need to run the GTP_Registry Qualifier and have your division/handicap assigned after which you can register and participate in these races or the time trials.

EDIT: Gravitron got there first. :sly:

Pekka's being the host in the GTP_3D3Racing lounge ATM
jtv, Hasslemoff, Sjaak, pre and RaceRyder are in here too

Treed x3 , yes the EU Practice lobby is open at GTP_3D3Racing's lounge.

Just about to run some laps in the 3D3 Racing lobby 👍

Edit: (tree'd x4 - but I relly don't know what that means) I'm late to the show - 6 drivers in there already :D

Edit, Edit: Got it now : https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6375889#post6375889

Edit, Edit, Edit: this event gets easier guys 👍 The practice room was set to SH tires, not SM - Bad Speedy 👎

Just wondering if the Saturday races are happening?

Yes they do but, as for now, it will just be on a 'come and go' base.
I'll mostly open the lounge around 12:30 - 1 PM PST / 3:30 - 4 PM EST / 8:30 - 9 PM GMT / SUN 7:30 - 8 AM ACT

Thanks Speedy, I'm 90% sure that I'll be there on Sat.

👍 Guess you already ran the qualifier and you are qualified to run the races.

New Qualifier Results:

Division 4 Bronze (4.667 - 4.999):

GTP_EddNinhs / nihasso / Brazil (4.854)

I will add you to the 3D3 driver database and you can take part in the events starting today. If you haven't already send a PSN friend request to GTP_3D3Racing and GTP_3D3_B and make sure you send from your GTP tag PSN account. Your name should already show up in the registered driver table on the front page of this thread.

Welcome and looking forward to racing with you. This week is a tough car/track so good luck! The lounge will open for practice one hour before the race tomorrow.

UPDATE: Eduardo, I rejected your friend requests from your EddNinhs PSN account and sent requests to your GTP tag PSN account GTP_EddNinhs instead. You will need to run our online events and any time trial competitions for WRS using the GTP tag account.

Pop in the lounge if you can make it as there are only 11 registered for EU at this time plus normally have one or two last minute cancels.

We don't have enough pre-registrations for either time slot to set up a split lounge ahead of time so we're sticking to one lounge with a max of 12 drivers.

Drivers that are pre-registered have priority and any remaining last minute slots will get spots on a first come first serve basis. If anyone joins and there are already 12 they are welcome to watch (limit 2). Seems like up to two observers do not impact the lag, but we'll limit it to 12 drivers and 2 observers.

Also additional drivers are welcome to the pre-race free run practice as the 12 limit only applies to the race. Marc will post when the lounge is open for practice. We are using GTP_3D3Racing for all races today. If you aren't racing feel free to use GTP_3D3_B for practice.

Guys, I may miss the EU event this week. Stuck in a meeting that may not en in time for the race. With any luck I'll just make the race, but it's a long shot at this point :(
Pekka, or Sjaak, are you able to host this week?

I can host. I'm not sure Pekka is even signed up. I'll get the practice room online shortly. I won't be driving for a while, but I'll get the room set up and ready.

Sure.

Pekka, are you running in EU or NA or both? You haven't used the form to sign up. No problem if you do of course, just so any last minute people know if we are full or not. One spot left in EU at this point.

EDIT: Lounge is open for pre-race practice. Remember to change your tires to Sports Medium. They will default to Sports Hard and switch back to sports hard if you change car colors. Also remember there is a mandatory pit stop in the race and the pits are closed for the first and last five laps, but you can pit any other time.

That's what I planned and was going to wait till last minute before jumping in the lounge as I wanted to leave the door open for other drivers to sing up/join before that.

People should just register. If we have enough and we know ahead of time then we can plan accordingly. If we hit 24 then we can talk about a waiting list

If people sign up at last minute it doesn't give us time to plan contingencies like alternate hosts, etc. I'll add to future sign up sheets a "reserve" option so people can sign up but be a fill in.

Great!

Pekka... join the lounge... you make 12 with Marc not here.

Good race well done jtv.

Im sure the mix up with the grid at the begining was down to me and someone I followed out of the pits when we rejoined after qualifying, I naturally pressed free run sorry :dunce:

Congratz to jtv... first race, first win 👍

Thankyou guys. Could have been anything with the grid but it certainly made it interesting starting near the back, very intense.
