Yes, sorry.
You're on the friendlist now but I don't think there's anyone in the lounge anymore.

Sorry I missed your message Tim!

Anybody got a laptime for online at the moment, just wondering what to aim for when I get home from work!!

I think James set a 2'16.2xx. Don't know if that was race or free run.

I´m going for some offline practice and see what´s possible, had no time until now to go for it.. hope it will last for tonight

Don't forget that if you practice offline to use the same car and course settings; tyre/fuelconsumption and put track edge at 'Real'. Otherwise the difference between offline and online is too big.

Thanks for the advice:tup: but i always drive with this settings offline and the car is stock :)

p.s. i´m not in distance to catch "James" :ouch:

Will there be the practice session before quali ?

A steward usually opens the lounge approx 1 hour before qualifying starts.

Al

edit; I need to go on reserve for the EU race. I don't think I will be able to get home in time today.

Like Al said, the lounge will be open approximatly one hour before qualifying begins before the race.

In this one hour before the race there won't be any practice races like in the other practices from yesterday. This time is used to warm up and solve any, if any, connection issues.

Thank you both and see you later ;)

I'm just in the lounge now for last bit of practice and get the right fuel add etc.

Hey guys, sorry for another late appearance,....can I join in again tonight or are you full up?

Dan.

The main lounge is open for practice/warmup.
Depending on how many will join we could swap to GTP_3D3_A (mic disabled lounge)

Speedy. We're at 14 confirmed + 3 reserves so we absolutely need a mic-disabled lounge. In fact, I'm going to set up my lounge and you guys can head over when you like... that way we can at least get 16.

So: Please proceed to my lounge for the EU race: GTP_WRP001 (open now)

All confirmed drivers are guaranteed spots and the reserves get in on a first come, first serve basis.

PS> I'll make sure everyone on the list is on my PSN FR list.

Have a good race everyone, guess I was on the late side...

Great race everyone! I enjoyed it much even though i caused the 130R crash and was unlucky with the fuel system! Sry for the incident and hope to see you next time and i´ll do better :)

well done Twissy! Well done too Oink and Caine, watched your names switching up and down at the end until i got you and then..you know what happend

Hehe, I guess it was WRP and myself that suffered most. I haven't watched the replay yet but what I did see was WRP's bumper on entry and then as WRP went left in the smoke cloud on exit, I went right - 50-50 call. I came out the other side a couple of places up with some minor damage but importantly travelling in the right direction and so I carried on. I then rapidly caught Caine who I assumed had come out of it too but with heavier damage.

I was feeling quite racey tonight which boded well and after the second round of pits stops I was comfortably in third until I ran out of fuel, on about lap 22 I think. I really don't understand that system, I've never raced it before. I did a splash and dash, came out 9th and climbed to 8th before I ran out of fuel again!

13th isn't a fair reflection for me tonight but I enjoyed every corner all the same.

Dan

Pit stop schedule: lap 9(?) 20 litres, lap 17(?) 11 litres, lap 22 15 litres, lap 25 finished in pits.

I felt sorry for you guys who ran out of fuel. And a fab battle with you Caine, if it weren't for those little errors, you would have flown by, but I kept the pressure on, even with my worn out tyres! Great close finish.

Here are the results from the EU race:

Well done Twissy for the win, and Wes and Tidgney for the podiums.

Well after not playing for a week, the 'Rust' certainly showed!

Had a little practice before entering. Came 3rd in Qualifying which wasn't to bad, messed up the chicane broke 10m to early at least, so had to roll a little which lost me a bit of time, wouldn't have got me up the grid though as I was down by a tenth already at that point!

So started the race, just thought I'd hold onto James/Wes as long as I could really as of course they are always on fire :D! But when the tyres came into effect I just couldn't keep up, twissy went away and Wes was on a different strategy :(!

Decided to go for a 1 stop, should have been 2 with My BB (4/8) for sure as the last lap, I'm sure Tim can vouch for this my car was just sideways as I had no tyre left lol. But I guess my decision was just from a quick run in, and a random guess at BB!

Still was awesome to watch a great battle between Wes and James, and good to get some good use out of my new setup :D! So onwards to F1 this weekend, hopefully a little more prepared, hope to get some practice in everyday leading upto it!

Pit stop schedule: lap 9(?) 20 litres, lap 17(?) 11 litres, lap 22 15 litres, lap 25 finished in pits.

I stopped in lap 9 only changing tyres to be lighter which worked out quite well, then I stopped in lap 17 refueling 45 litres but then ran out of fuel right before the chicane in the last lap which cost me one position. The problem you had is that when tyre wear/fuel consumption is on fast you can't trust the system on fuel so you have to judge for yourself. I think my strategy worked out quite well but i think a 1 stopper could have maybe been a little bit better.
