Put myself down as reserve for my first NA race, I'm now off work for four days, so don't mind a late one :)

Ugh. My races today have been embarrassing. I can't control the car. :ouch: Nice driving Paul and Jon. 👍

First of all just wanna say thanks everyone for your patience at the start of the session. GT6 clearly has some way to go in terms of smoothing out the problems in the online section. Let's hope they come sooner rather than later.

Secondly, great fun racing! Not an easy combo, but very addictive once you get the flow, and great battle Jon in race 2 in particular!

Results soon :)

Got DC'd during start procedure in the third race. But had good fun in the first two races. Hope the hick ups get sorted in the update later this month, cause online is certainly no improvement compaired to GT5!!!

If UPnP is not available does it matter cause it says that it is not available
That message is telling you that the PS3 can't open the necessary ports on your router for online gaming. In order for UPnP to work it must be enabled on the PS3 and supported and enabled on the router. If your router doesn't support UPnP you'll have to forward the ports manually or set your PS3 as the DMZ host.

Won't be making it to the NA race tonight I think. Started feeling dizzy and now headaches and sick again. Going to take a rest and hopefully be up by 9:30.

Here are the results from all 3 EU sprint races today. I think we can conclusively say the Australian was on home turf ;) If it weren't from some serious internet problems at the start of race 1, I think starting on pole would've seen you through that one too 👍.

I also put together this little "Best Performance" table, that shows your best race time, and your quali time, just as an alternative to a ridiculous sized combined results. Interesting to see Caine actually scored the fastest lap time, but...I guess no consistency?

Note: Revoy was given a minor penalty (15 seconds) in race 2 due to an incident with Speedy on the first lap of the race.

Usually a steward will open the lounge about an hour before quali starts, which would be about 30min from now.

Room is open now. Remember to filter with "friends only rooms" in the lobby selection screen and you should find mine, appropriately titled :)

Edit: Remaking the room, I think I've figured out this bug where people can't join.
Edit 2: Room back online.

So here's the bug, this happened with Dano too earlier. If someone makes a room, and subsequently, you add someone else as a friend, they will get the bug where it says "room is full" even though its like 5/16 or what have you.

Remaking the room seems to fix the problem.

Sorry, I have to cancel. My brother has decided to occupy the PS3 with Grand Theft Auto and I can't just barge him off it. :grumpy: Good luck all.

My game just froze... did something happen to the room, or is it just me?

That seems to be not in-frequent with this game. You should be good.

I know the feeling. When my brother moved out it was like the most wonderful thing. I am probably a terrible person :mischievous:

Once again excellent racing in NA race. Was very sad when the game froze up again mid race, mid battle with Jon, but still fun the rest of the way.

Congrats Twissy for, once again, dominating the action! Was nice to hang on (and even lead) for a lap or 2 in the last 2 races, your pace is just insane 👍.

Looking forward to the next one already. Really hope they fix up the online component sharpish. Will be less of a struggle not having to start 3 seperate races, but even so it shouldn't be that much trouble!

I got the results for race 3 down given that I inherited the room after oink was DC'ed:

I'd upload the replay but the file is 25MB zipped. Site won't allow the upload.

Edit: Replay is in my Dropbox, if a steward needs to look at it for fastest laps and such.

Definitely no consistency! If I remember on that lap I got a decent tow down both straights, otherwise my pace was solidly in the 17's

Had some great races, and if you take out my mistakes, would have been fighting for podiums, but hey ho. Looking forward to next week now :D

Thanks for the results Paul, I was still to slow, but consistand... great fun tough, but I need more practise after my 4 month break, rusty is not the correct word :boggled:

Sorry if there are any errors, I didn't double-check things. Great races last night, and I think things will only get better from here. :)

A lot of fun last night. Unfortunately, I didn't figure out the mistake I was consistently making at the top of the mountain until the last race. I spun almost half the passes up there the first two races but corrected my braking and was much more consistent. Lucas and I had an awesome battle the third race and must've swapped positions 5 times in 3 laps. Nice job Lucas. Great racing everyone who participated.

Hmmm ... I should have had Strop. But I was less comfortable on the tires early and late in the race than I was on laps 3, 4 and 5. Until they warmed up and after they started going away I felt I had to be a bit cautious on the run over Skyline. I'm pretty sure all my fastest laps were lap 4's.

There was a little argy-bargy at the back early in race 3 but it didn't affect the outcome. Al and I had a good drafting battle in the middle portion.

Other noteworthy part of each race was passing the sector marker on Conrod each lap and seeing how much farther Twissy had extended his lead. An experience common to all, it appears.

Edit: Oh, and there's probably a good picture to be had from the replay of race 2. Big accident somewhere on the mountain with like 4 cars spun out.

Twissy pulled the hat trick. Congratz! I couldn't even complete three laps without spinning.

I hope to be joining you guys in January at some point. Will be away for every Wednesday until that time.

Here's a video of replay of all of EU Race 2, myself and Jon ended up in a great battle at the end. This track is great fun to watch and race once you get the rhythm.

I was certainly keeping an eye on you in the mirror. I was expecting to be caught but I figured the best strategy was just keeping it steady and not taking any risks.

Same here. I was close enough that a bobble would've put me right up on or past you, and the same was true for the folks who were behind me.

A lot of this in the back half of the grid comes down to avoiding other people's accidents and minimizing those caused by yourself.

Haven't had time to watch oink's vid above, but wanted to put this pic up to show just how awesome the races were last night:👍

Next Wed's race will be at Apricot Hill with a BMW. We just need to decide which model. :)
