Yep that was good fun, I ran 10 laps all within a few tenths of 1'43s, best 1'42.9, seemed OK with just me and Grav, next to see how it is with more traffic.

edit: just did some offline time trialing and got steady 1'42s with a 1'41.349 best lap. I assume I can't submit this for practice times, that's for online only right?

I haven't driven Fuji in years, boy I've sure missed this track.

I submitted my practice time about 5 hours ago but still hasn't showed up on the board. Is it just processing this slow or should I do it again?

I've noticed the start of a race and you are last place there is a long delay and you don't get off the line like the rest of the pack does. The slowest racer gets penalized.

Are you talking grid or formationlap start?

Just had 30-45 minutes practice in Fastas' lounge, so far off the pace and I really don't know why. I'm haven't even gotten out of the 1.44s yet.

It must have been a bug by PD's programmers like the funky grid lineups.
I don't think it's necessarily the person in last place, I think it's just a bug, it's happened to me multiple times.

We are doing formationlap with rolling starts now so seems your finding is something from the past now. :)

Actually, we listed a grid start in race 2 at Fuji. Because of the bugs and glitches let's just eliminate PD bugs and run formation laps / rolling starts for both races. It takes a bit more time and coordination, but it is good practice since we use them in most official events. I will change it in the details post.

Forget that, it said rolling start for both... The order in race two will be based on race 1. So no grid starts anyway.

Not sure if physics are the same online/offline (it wasn't in GT5)

Was running few training laps last night offline tt and laps were 1.41s, just opened a room to test it online and best so far is 1.42.497 (alone on the track) I can see around 1 sec difference between both ?

I had same issue, until I checked my tires and realized I was running the stock Sports Hards, once I changed to Mediums the times were in line with others.

That's why your laps posted need to be online. No tire wear offline is the biggest thing. Physics may have subtle differences in addition, but it is closer than is was in early GT5. You can certainly transfer knowledge of how to execute a lap from offline practice with a ghost, but the times are apples and oranges and shouldn't be directly compared. The difference isn't always 1 second, it depends on the track, car and setting we choose.

Is it just me or is the Lap times board empty?

The image capture program capturing the table will timeout on occasion if Google is too slow to populate the web page. Ignore it and check back in 30 mins. If the problem persists through a couple refreshes it could be a bug in our sheet so at that point let us know. It looks fine now.

1472-6681-3158-0098-5820 room still open. Had a good run with @WayneGTC . He got the fastest lap of 1'42 dead, I was 3 tenths of but in the battle we were very close the whole time.
 Cheers Wayne

Edit: I'm joining the room of R1RoLLER so room is closed.

For sure that will depend on track & combo. ;)

As soon as you have less fuel on the tank the time are going down 1.42.010 online ;)

Nice race Robert:tup:

For your info, I allways leave room to pass when we practice race for fun, don't hesitate

New to l this WRS stuff. Prefer racing to time attack so will be doing alot of these. On both registry and 3d3, do we still need to submit practise times? What about colour choices etc?
Thanks in advance.

I noticed, some times I was just showing myself in your mirrors to possibly send you into a mistake because u might be surprised by it but I would never go for the inside with not enough space for the both of us.:P

This room is open: 1472-6399-8665-9407-9260

Got some practice time today in R1RoLLER 's room but kept getting disconnected. Still struggling with this combo big time so I'm really going to have to practice this one hard. I haven't ran this track much at all, so I really need to practice my lines and braking points. Thanks for the open room though, much appreciated.

Practice room for Fuji GT up:

DeathStar had joined, but then he either left or disconnected, and I DC'd at the same time.

Will check again later after getting some food.

Yup...DC'd. Restart & System Check. This is a common issue that I hope is being addressed by PD/Sony.

Hi all !
I've run with you guys in last week event, but I have no idea what division :)
But since my times are way behind you I've selected division 5 when I've sign up on the form for this event.
Hope that's ok :)
See you on the track ;)

You have two choices: Watch cartoons or run some laps in a GT-R at Fuji Speedway GT. Because cartoons are not nearly as good as they were in the 1980's I think that running laps is your only real choice. :D
