The entry list is showing for me right now... and I noticed it got fancier! Those colours! Tim, 👍
Maybe it's early but it appears participation may have fallen of the cliff.
I've seen this in autocross and other racing, for years. Lots of new people show up with high hopes of top 5 finishes or whatever. They figure they're hot stuff on the street so autocross should be a breeze and they've come to show us old timers they're younger, faster and better. Of course that rarely happens but the ones that keep coming back eventually do become skilled competitors and sometimes show us how it's done.
I bring this up because I think it's likely to happen in this club and probably happened in the past.
Now that the GTP tag requirement has been dropped I believe your going to see a lot of new drivers come and go.
I am new to GTP racing but not to racing and I hope to keep doing this because it's a blast and fills my off season.
Please! If you're new to this, keep your expectations reasonable, race for fun and learn from the experienced guys.
Don't quite!
You WILL get better.
You can make one if you want.Any rooms open?
Too bad I got disconected and can't come back, apparently incompatibilty with the host
@Luni Legacy, you registered for this event, but you need to run and submit the registry qualifier before you are eligible for our future events. The open registration period is over as the qualifier has been public for a month now and everyone should have had ample time to run it.
Speedy made the color bodies and rims. I just linked them in the form.
Fuji is a weird track.
There is so much open space and wide sweeping and / or inconsistent corners that it leaves a lot of room for interpretation on the best line.
Not sure how they did the math on that course design.
Ok, so we had our first couple formationlap practices.
All in all, it went quite well. Just these couple mistakes need correcting.

And last one but also pretty important. No overlap is allowed like shown in previous pics but in the next one, leaving a gap like that should be avoided. You're just giving yourself and the ones behind you a gap to begin with.

To give you guys an idea, the beginning of the next video shows a near perfect formation.
