NOTICE: The admins are still reviewing the RUF Cup replay based on a request from one of the participants. We've been seriously busy this week and haven't had a proper amount of time to put into the review yet (yes, we like to drive too). But we'll have a decision by tomorrow afternoon and update the official results if necessary.

Nice video Paul 👍

That would be me at 2:01 spinning out and taking Jon with me (sorry Jon) in the fourth race. It actually nearly happened again in reverse later on, only I was a bit further back so I was able to avoid him.

I'm pretty pleased with third place, especially considering I had little practice and I spun off early on. Even if I'd had a perfect race, I was never going to be a match for Bart or James, they were in a different league.

You should definately be pleased with 3rd place. Thats quite a feat with the kinda competition in the race.

And I know that a similar thing happened with you at that corner, but I think that particular incident was actually Scott (Tomstoneplt) with Pekka right behind him. (sorry for naming names ;) )

I tried to get some clips with nearly everyone across all the events, so if you look closely, everyone should be able to find themselves somewhere in there! :D

Great videos guys!

Could one of the admins change the status of my result in GT out of that BRZ before you FR-S to DC instead of DNF, or am I mistaken and stopped to distinguish between the two.

There is a difference. DNF means you voluntarily stopped, parked, quit. DC means you were disconnected.

I didn't enter those results as I didn't attend that race, but will make the change. Will update the images when we finalize the RUF Cup results.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The admins have finished the review of the RUF cup replay and we are imposing a 15 second penalty on GTP_Twissy in the RUF Cup for abuse of track boundaries. We did not feel there were intentional cuts meant to cheat, but Twissy did not do enough to correct the issue after several laps in a row going wide in the same location on the track.

I'll quote my post from the Spa event thread a week ago to reinforce our position on this subject:

A quick announcement about track boundaries. The admins want to stress that we expect drivers to do their best to stay within track boundaries per the OLR. Two tires should remain in contact with the track surface at all times and rumbles are considered track. Green runoff areas are not track.

We are not as strict online as the time trials and understand that mistakes happens during a race over the course of 55 minutes, but if we observe a pattern of abuse we will be penalizing drivers. Possible penalties include 15 seconds for a "minor" pattern of abuse, 30 seconds for a "substantial" pattern of abuse and a DQ for "complete disregard" of track boundaries.

It's admins discretion exactly what qualifies for "minor", "substantial" or "complete disregard". Going outside the rumble by a centimeter isn't as serious as a car length wide excursions into the run off area. Factors such as dirty air or traffic also come into play.

If you find yourself going wide the next lap you're expected to slow down a bit more to make sure you stay within boundaries. If you make the same mistake multiple times and you want to avoid a penalty you can always self-penalize during the race by lifting for a very brief period upon returning to the track. Continuing to hammer the throttle after repeated boundary overruns may very well end with a post race penalty.

Here are the final official results after applying the penalty:

Bart has been awarded the win for the RUF cup and Twissy maintains his podium finish.
