I tried to run another session but waking up early just to watch the F1 qualifying and the race confused my body clock, so I was too tired to run anymore laps.
Toyota CELICA SS-II - 43.792
TOYOTA MODELLISTA CELICA TRD Sports M - 42.830
Combined time: 1'26.622
Oh, and to pvr, great times! Remember to upload you replays
I'm posting my times now because I don't know whether or not I'll be able to do so later. I still feel as though I can knock a couple of tenths off my times, but my free time has evaporated!
This week was a lot of fun with these cars on this short track. Being aggressive throwing the cars into the corners using the weight transfered and the 'tail-loose' behavior of this cars to put them in better position in corner's exit was key.
Be carefull! because I attached the files and then when I posted the reply the files didn't show up on my post, so please doble check after you post to prevent this.
I'm pretty sure I could do better, but I really don't have time
My first attempt with the SS-II was unclean so I had to do it again, and I managed to shave off a miserable .014 of my previous time 0:43:930 to 0:43:916). I hope they're really clean, since I'm new and all.
I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to the next week!
Rocketing into first place for this Celica challenge was MVR08. His times were, per usual, very fast... but a victory of by about 3/4ths of a second in this challenge over the next closest competitor is super impressive. We were able to welcome Donfuy to the WTAC and he introduced himself with a very nice third place finish. Congratulations on the strong showing!
Four of us (2nd through 5th place) all finished in the mid-1'26.xxx range - and easyasashii would have been there if he wasn't in the middle of packing and moving! It was a tight week for competition... and a good week for the WTAC.
Overall: Dan360 still controls the top overall spot. MVR08 leapt from 5th place to tie pvr77 in 2nd place. I drafted MVR08 as he was speeding past me and I also have somehow squeezed myself into the three-way tie for 2nd place overall.
OpelcorsaGSI sends his regrets for not being able to join in this week, but he'll do so when he gets more spare time to play with the PSP. Also, red ice is absent again and we hope to have him back soon!
