That was you was it? You sly dog! I can't remember the ID but I think I'd recognise it if I saw it again. During the whole race I thought there was something strange yet familiar about the driving style. I was thinking "why have I never noticed this guy before, he's a bit handy"...

Heh, the more I think about this the more I think 'do I really want to be humiliated by the likes of Timppaq, Prudent bear, Spyrrari, et al every time I race'... perhaps I should have eased off a bit on the time trial.

Feeling the same way here, I'm gonna be exposed as a massive fraud when we get to cars and tracks I'm weak in... like GT-R's NSX's and every track but Suzuka.

I know just how you feel!
I've just finished time trialling every car around Suzuka, and I think you've got the better of me in every car bar one. I won't tell you which, as I'd like to bask in the glory of my superiority over you for that 1 in 71 occasion, for just a bit longer

Ok, I'm thinking:

• - 1-2 sessions / week - to keep the 'special' feeling and meaning in it (maybe one during the workdays and one @ weekend)
• - 2-4h / session - to get as many D1 drivers as possible on track at the same time
• - certain timeslot e.g. :03 / :18 / :33 / :48
• - one make race?

Only thing I can add is that we need to get some serious track time in on the other circuits. I've probably only done 20 laps total on London and eiger

Really thought I made a crappy qualifier race as Suzuka is my nightmare for TT.
Feel much more comfortable on all other tracks

Perhaps another event we could hold would be a Leaderboard Assault.
Every week or two, we pick a track and a car, and Time Trial in the Arcade.
See if we can't flood the leaderboard with GTP_ tags.
I think Division One is essentially the drivers that made the Top 100 at Suzuka, so it all kinda fits.

*Stotty reminds Timo of his laps in the 350Z for the GT Challenge* If you managed that time in less than 20 laps you should be driving F1 cars for a living.

I don't think I would have got in D1 if the qualifying track had been anything other than Suzuka

Seems like a pretty good idea to me 👍

Alot of guys in D1 I have raced with before and I can see they there will be good racing to come
