What's the end date for the current combo? I might be able to give this a shot.

We don't know the end date yet, but it's still open. We're supposed to organise the races ourselves. Let's say next weekend I'll open a room and try to find as many members as possible from division 1 to join and do a 'main race' (a race that counts towards the results). Would be great if you could make it.

Scrap that, I can't next weekend. But you get my point. Someone has to step up, open a room and find as many members as he/she can to join.
Only the results from so called main races count. Of course you can't just do a race, get a nice time and call that a main race. You have to announce it to everybody in the room first.

Not at the moment, but we will be moving on soon as the guys that do take part and support the event, will be getting bored soon enough.

Spot on ways to do this, post in the thread send pm's to members on your friends list, 💡 go round to their house and knock on the door, you get the picture, the more you get in a room the better your racing will be.

Hey look Lin and CSL both in the US maybe time zones not to far apart both in Div1.

Great idea with the MSN Dion, another way is to open a room in online lobby and post the number here in the thread, thats also good for GTPlanet on the road to the next 5 million posts.

Come on guys open them room, don't matter how many rooms are open, more rooms = better choice. 👍

In that time I managed a 1'14.682 in the RX7 - 06 model.

Here are my settings, I still think it has a little too much oversteer in the corner just after T2, but havnt yet figured out how to dial that out.

The tune is finished now. Fastest lap: 1'14.468 1'14.429(without slipstream). Not much left.

It's easier to handle than the Arta Garaya.

Hi Luke there are four cars to choose from dont give up so easy, I know that Deep Forest with all its funny cambers is a test for anyone, this is why I gave you four cars to pick from which are all around the same in lap times.

Plus you were in with some very fast division one guys in a free practice lounge, thats always going to be a bit soul destroying. Please try some of the other cars maybe try and get a few members from your own division in with you, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun racing.

This is about you racing with other members of your own division and abilities, so you have good close racing, not you racing against division one members, I would never ask anyone to do that.

I might join in friday night after finish the race with the GTHQ guys. We are running the RE Amemiya Asparadrink RX7 '06 on Seca. So i'm used to the car only have to get used to the car track combo.

Maybe good to know if you guys racing fridaynight and till what time?

With some great advice from GTP_CICO (I had never even been into the Practice Mode area ), I was able to take the RX7 well into the 1'15s tonight with my own tune. I could see 1'14s with this car so I'm going to stick through with this one and see if I can give these speed demons a run for their money.

Fantastic Lin, I've said it before in the thread Deep Forest has some perculiar cambers even more so in reverse. One touch on the gas in the wrong place, you can soon be heading in the wrong direction.

Glad you like the car/track combo, there are no plans to update the event just at the moment Room, as we are still trying hard to drum up support for the events to come.

We're hoping this will run as a long term event using past WRS combo's giving members the option of putting all their hard work into practice online with members form their own divisions.

I'll always keep my eye on this thread, if I see anyone open a room i'll join in.

I keep forgetting about this place. I went online during last weekend after somebody in the GT5 section set up a Nurburgring 24h room (we only did 2 laps at a time) And it was a lot of fun, even if I came 7th out of 8 on most races I did

I'll try and keep an eye here and join when I see one posted.

Sorry Mike I've never started a thread in WRS about GTP_IDOR, not that I remember anyway, Kevin and the admin team know I wouldn't do something like that without asking first, but hey I'm getting old and dementia may be setting in.

Please dont wait for a room to be opened, you can open one yourself if you wish to join in, I along with others will soon join you, we keep an eye on this thread, just post your room number as others have done so. 👍

You may like to try this too GTP_Classics now that we have the format all sorted, realy good entertainment.

If any other members would like to open a room as there is no OMRS this weekend please do so, that way we could split up the division into D1, D2 and D3,D4,D5.
