Would be good to do some live racing with fellow WRS'ers. I'm usually on and racing online most weekday evenings and most of the day saturdays if I'm not up to anything else (I drive a Mini so I'm usually fixing something at the weekends lol).

I've tried to group these by rough timezones (forgive me if I've grouped you in the wrong area since I'm an American and we tend to be the least globally knowledgable people in the world ). I guess I'm a little slow on the uptake here, but the WRS with this car was Arcade. Wouldn't one have to buy this car to run online or am I missing some info in the thread?

This race looks really good but I cant do it as im working nights this week fri sat and sunday, stupid continental shifts ! Gutted. Just have to work on getting this weeks WRS lap time down tonight, I think its a tough one.

No because if you've not already got it, you can find it in the recommended garage online, which is set to 142bhp and 1130Kg weight.

The only hard work you have to do is put Sport Hard tyres on it, then turn off SRF as per the setting for week 4 WRS.

I know I'm not the brightest button in the sawing box and I do make many mistakes from time to time.

If you find any problem with any of the settings or combos please do the research first then tell me, but I'm glad you brought that up for other members to see if they dont have the car already.

One more point to help all divisions to find members in their own time zones to race online with, I'll start a chat room called IDOR there will be no password for this room.

Over the last couple of days I've been testing this out with others, had about 6 races now and they are good fun. Close door to door stuff most of the time, and you have to take the oppertunity to overtake when it comes along, but without knocking the other guy off line.

So please stick to the OLR and you'll enjoy it.

The loss of battery may catch one or two out so watch your right foot

It was a popular turn out for this WRS week 105 I think, so I hope this will be popular too.

I hope to see more trying this out pre event race.

Thanks to GTP_LinPark and GTP_Pasm for showing the way with two Division 1 rooms open last night, I really thought that div 1 was going to be the hardest div to crack, how wrong was I.

If others in your Divison have half the get up and go as you two your online racing will be fantastic. 👍

As there was nobody replying to my post I went along and spectated in GTP_Pasm (Bart) room, I watched the fisrt two races, brilliant stuff, GTP_W-g-e well deservse he's placing in Div 1 watching his performance.

Because the room was practice only I asked the room host (Bart) if I may join and was invited in to race, what great fun that was, I await Bart's video to be posted in this thread.

GTP_Wayna (Wayne) and GTP_pk_090 (Alex) what can I say, the time spent on WRS each week lap after lap pushing the car / track combo to the limit is invaluable when racing online, top tip to all members keep running WRS it pays off.

Kind words from you Philip. Thank you for explaining what IDOR is all about. I really hope we get more races like this. Online racing and WRS are two of my favourite things to do in GT5 and you've combined them. Great idea.

Thanks to Bart for putting a room up and thanks to all others for the racing last night. At first I thought this can't be fun to race, but it turned out to be really fun, close racing.

A race report from one of the first races from this combo, raced last friday 1-4-2011. Let this inspire you and host sessions for your division too. It's a really good combo!
As you can see it turned out to be a race full of close racing, one of the closest racing I've ever seen. I've had a lot of fun. Thanks for the awesome race guys!!! 👍👍👍

First of all a big thanks to Bart for the great video’s, if there were just 10 members with the same get up and go as you, along with others (Andy, Lin, Wes, Kat, Wayne, Ali) this will turn into a good extension of WRS. We’re not going to run all past races from WRS just the ones that we think are entertaining enough to race online, mix them in with our own or requested races, it should be like you say an event worth taking part in.

Here is a list of the first four races in this round of the event.

Spoon CR-Z Cape Ring South on going; WRS week 4 there was good interest in this week with 105 submissions, this first race will continue to give members of each division lots of time to find members in their own division to race with.

GT300 Deep Forest; this is by request and will follow once main races have been completed and times entered.

Audi FT565 Rome Circuit; another popular race in WRS week 3 with 111 submissions.

Classic Pre 1970 Nurbur, Nordschleife or Nascar could be Road Course Indy / Daytona / or other.
Thoughts or input welcome.

Once all four races are complete (times entered from one main race only) prises will be awarded for the most wins in each division 1st / 2nd / 3rd for now, as this will take me some time to complete.

Don’t forget you can race/practice as many times as you like, invite any members from other divisions to join you and have some fun like we did as you can see from Bart’s video / pictures from Kat.

I’ll try to open a lobby room or my lounge as often as I can for you to join, or you can come to the online chat room GTP_IDOR and find others to race online with.

Then we’ll move onto the four races in round 2 of the event.
