...the PS4 had been around for while then, and it made sense for few people to keep kicking the old horse around.

Pretty much what happened to me. I got overwhelmed with work then moved. When I moved I picked up a ps4 and never hooked the 3 back up.

I'm 11-for-11 in submissions thus far and hoping to keep the string alive even if have some pretty ugly handicaps coming up.

It's my favorite track IRL, and an appropriate finish to Gran Turismo 6 WRS. This game featured the highest number of time trials in the history of the series, may that record never be broken.

I like it, except I am in Hawaii from 3/3 to 3/11, going to be hard to get my runs in, but challenge accepted. 👍

If i get to chose a combo it would have to be a circle track, my only 3 wins in sport mode are all on ovals.

I did consider that! In the event you are the last man standing I think it's only fair that you give me the choice of combo for proposing the challenge in the first place.

Hmm, I may not be the fastest, and consistency is just a word from dictionary for me, but I am stubborn enough for the win in this challenge (it may be the only win i can claim in GTS WRS trials - my last online win(first aswell) in that space-y Plymouth from Rome is so dusty, that I sneeze each time i pass around it). At least to make it hard enough for y'all others.

I think if this is to be fair and above board it has to be about attendance not results. A non green flag is just an unfortunate end result that you can't acquire unless you participate in the TT in the first place.

I wasn't around for all of Al's amazing feat but I do remember one occasion where he literally crawled out of his sick bed, did a single lap and crawled back again just to log a result.

Anyway it just has to be a registered and submitted lap - sound good?

Works for me. 👍 Hopefully a newcomer like me can stay disciplined to participate every week like you old gu... i mean veterans of GT.

Whilst I'm here what's the appetite for starting from next week and opening this up to everyone now there's an incentive? It'll be down to you guys to advertise this and get people interested but I'll happily assist in tracking.

You could get a tie if the last two (or more) guys standing missed the same week.

The more the merrier as far as i'm concerned. Maybe start the streak count on week 13. The point is to get consistent participation.
