Yeah but if you are gonna buy a car for 425pp races you might as well buy it now and detune it to 400.

True. But the choices I've seen with the credits I've got aren't that good. Tried a couple already and none of both did well at 425pp (Specially at London), so I might wait to see what the CR-X can rake in and buy a car a bit more expensive...

He did go too fast in Autumn Ring qualification (as well as Dude-Abides-1930).
The results look good. He won that race by about 4 seconds (I think) but the penalty brought him down to 9th place.
:dunce: Thanks Mike, I forgot that and didn't notice his 46.924 in the data when I was staring at it with Paul today.

 to Paul for great work on the docs that we use. 👍

@ThePDTX I was going to, until I noticed that we aren't allowed to tune the cars, so I'm probably going to get a new one. I might see what times I can get in the Peugeot though, before I commit to something new. :D

I might just go all the way with the 106 and save the money for the next round of events. But yeah, I need to see how fast I can go on the 425pp tracks and compare times. If I see that i'm to slow maybe i'll consider buying a new one for the last event.

I think we should get some future plans clarification from Paul.
Are we going to keep our credits/cars from this championship for the next one? This could help with my decision for drivetrain layout of my next car.

I would assume so. But if not, i'm definitely buying a new car. haha

We should wait for Paul to confirm. I actually think it would make more sense to completely separate championships. Maybe just keep some bonus for competing in the previous one.

The answer is always Neon...

Unless you don't want to be 1sec off the pace at Tsukuba at 400pp; and I have no clue yet at the 425pp cup. :dunce:

Good luck with that. 👍

Fairly pleased to get 8th considering I got a penalty :). Need to do a bit more research for future events. The FTO served me well, it handled very well but lacked the straight line speed at GVE when limited to 350pp. Congrats to Mike @mr_lab_rat for the win, and @Iceman220 and @GTP_Patrick1 for the podiums.
Fto was my first option for the first 2 cups but then i had to purchase another car for the last cup .So ,i changed my mind took a look at @Eggstor testing list and thought to give mr2 a shot.I got good times at GVE but i knew i might struggle at gve, at the end due to overheating tyres caused by excessive weight transfer towards the left side(rear and front). My major mistake was taking a risk to beat @Meister Fetz time at autumn ring if i had not taken the risk ,I think i would have started 3rd i had 47.044 in quali my second best.I had fun in all races looking forward to the upcoming sunday i wish it could come a bit earlier:P;)

I got a time of 1:09:7 with mr2 i might have to do some testing though may be in the evening .and lucas can u give any idea of what is up after 425 pp cup ? Will these cars get carry forwarded ? If there are upcoming events

Need suggestions for new car which can do tsukuba and 425pp cup :)
If you want to burn most of your cash, the early Evos and the Integras would seem to be options. Of course, that MR2 time at Tsukuba is quite good - I can't quite match it with my RX-7.

Do remember the overall championship is based on how much cash you have after the Novice Cup.

That was a fun session, we tried all 400pp tracks and Rome for 425pp.
Tsukuba is the most difficult to get close to the cap. Suzuka is the easiest to get a penalty for going too fast :)
Rome could be difficult if your car can't reach 425pp.

I'm almost a second and a half below target at the eternal city...

I know from now that I wont participate to the 425 cup at November 2nd.It's the same hour with the start of USA Grand Prix unfortunatelly.

It is??? :odd: Oh no. I DVR all of the TV coverage, but every once in a while I will see something that will spoil the surprise for me if I can't hit play early enough. I'm hoping not to miss any of the Championship point races (both for myself in this Championship and the Formula 1 races (GO #77!!!)).

Wow, sweet!
Thanks for processing the results so quickly. Is there a place where we can see what cars people used?

Ill work on something, but thanks to @Eggstor for posting them :)

Credit, yes it follows you as you progress, but it will be kept an eye on to make sure people have enough credit to be able to compete in a championship. We want to make it available to everyone as not everyone will be able to compete in every event. But also to keep the one's who can make the most races at a slight advantage with Credit and there interest in a full career mode, its a fine line but each driver should be able to purchase a car that can compete.

Example: 20000 cr will still get you a car able to compete in the next race or race's so a new driver will not get extra credit by joining late and they will not be enter'ed into the overall championship winner.

After the 425 pp cup there will be a break with some bonus events made available, once the dates are set the International B Part A will go live with the FF Cup, FR Cup and 80's-90's Cup (and maybe one more event depending on date availability).

Your second question is answer'd below.

Under the cap if I wasn't careful.
One more question for @hasslemoff: Do we get money back for cars we sell? I think the game gives back about 30-40% of credits.

@Nail-27 asked a similar question, there is no way of doing it automatically, but I have an idea that can be implemented and adds a bit of fun, so you will be able to sell a car to add to your credit, details of this will be posted after the Novice Championship has ended, but you can keep your car if you wish to run it in the following Championship, the choice is your's.

I have a question for this Sunday races.Do I keep the money that I earn for future races? If this is the case I wont buy new car for the 400 cup.
