I've tried to submit twice now, once I did as normal copy and paste the GTP_WRS Week 1 Submission into the subject line.

Copy paste Time into the body.

Time: 1'10.100 change this to my lap time

Came back rejected, second time of trying I wrote the info in, but still came back rejected.

Am I doing something wrong.

Phillip.

Your doing It correct. I had 2 rejected, 3rd time lucky.
Noticed I put "Time: 1'0*.***" Instead of Time 1'0*.***

Also check you've not added any extra characters in the title. It'd be quite easy to copy an extra blank space when copy and pasting the title at the beginning or end. Ditto with the lap time.

Just a case of trial and error in finding what bit you've done wrong.

I've submitted with splits on the board.

Thanks for the replies tried both ways, quit sure there is nothing there that shouldn't be, I'll try third time lucky too.

Phillip.

Phillip.

If you are unable to submit, you can *forward* the submission (which bounced) to me. If I can spot what's wrong, I'll have you fix the issue and resubmit. Otherwise, I'll inform Marijn of the issue and will process the submission manually for this week.

What is the error message you get back Phillip?

PS: all the messages are logged, so you don't have to worry about not having sent the message in time, I can check all the messages that have been sent manually.

Third time lucky too.

Had two come back with this message.
Your private message could not be processed due to an invalid body. Please make sure you follow the guidelines outlined in the WRS thread and try again.

On the third attempt.
Your time of "1'00.000" for week 1 has been accepted.

Edit Looks like the problem was using copy/paste, don't do it in the body.

Press Enter after Time:

Edit: Never Mind oh and I too Nailed on the 3rd attempt ,the Fetchbot is not easily entertained :sly:

Kevin, there's no bug that gives you rocket speed or acceleration (you can test that by yourself)

I was working off of information provided by other members of the race admin staff. Mainly wanted to make it clear to everyone that if they find some gimmick (Like to Subaru Toe Bug on Prologue) that we would not allow it.

it was never intended to take away from people using max settings.

I changed the text in the first post. It's possible that the bold and color change were showing in the embedded text and causing the issue. My submission worked on the first try, but I did change the format to the standard color and non-bold.

I've checked the logs and that is exactly what the problem was.

Fetchbot doesn't really like bold and colored text :dopey:

Here are my sector times from my sub. Joost did a nice job of updating the Fetchbot to help us with math, but now I'm at the bottom of the board.

15.279
19.553

EDIT : I've updated the first post and the first post of WRS week 2 with the following -

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!
See this update -

No need to re-post old splits, but be sure you use this format when posting splits from now on.

Submitted with sleightly slower splits but mutch better line time.

Best T1 I have seen was 15.240 :embarrassed:, and best T2 was 34.747 but that both didnt work out.

Submitted with these splits:

15.225
19.452

Thats (34.677) a tenth slower at T2 but about a tenth up at the line. Swings and roundabouts.

Good luck everyone. 👍

T1: 15.193
T2: 19.230

Time submitted, good luck guys 👍

I'm glad to have helped a bit with my car settings to those who find them useful, I'm not a car settings wizard though.

Time submitted with my current splits, good luck everyone. 👍

I used your tune Ramon

I would just like to say thank you to yourself and all the other guys who posted their settings, you guys really are gentlemen 👍

It really is a great help for tuning dummies like myself :dopey:

Managed to improve on deadline day, here are my sector times.

T1: 15.325
T2: 19.414

Going to submit my lap and good luck to everyone.

Time submitted. Didn't get the amount of time with the car I wanted but things happen.

Will be back participating once my new pedals arrive.

I've checked the logs and that is exactly what the problem was.

Fetchbot doesn't really like bold and colored text :dopey:

Fetchbot is bland, tasteless and boring. Not imaginative at all.

Must be why he accepted my submission right away. :sly:

He has rejected me twice now..i don't think he likes me anymore..

It should work to just copy and paste the format from the first post. Make sure you don't have any extra spaces, etc.

Submitted my woeful time, 60 hour-week and two injuries are making participating rather difficult. Hopefully in a few weeks I can really get stuck in. Good luck everyone.

Submitted with my pre-update time...was hoping to get a 3rd session in today but that didn't happen...

good luck all,

spy.

Alright. Got 2 1/2 hours to learn the car/track and submit a time. Havn't played GT5 in about a week either.

Should be interesting. :sly:

I loved the 2nd combo so much, I couldn't go back to try again. Submitted with current splits.

I saved my ghost replay; but it did not choose the ghost that was my best lap?

I goofed it up, but was slow anyways.

Doesn't it just save your sessions' best lap's ghost?
