You son of a gun Bandit ;) And you did that with chase cam view right?

Of course ;) Still a couple of tenths to find when I put the lap together :) I'm loving this extra corner, hats off to however's idea it was

I just tried Baron's tune with my gears, to see what's different. I think his is a bit easier to get on the gas, but also pushes more on exit of the last turn in particular. I think that's mostly the second LSD number. I found that a higher Accel LSD helped with that, and a higher braking LSD helped keep the car straight under braking.

Nice tune, would say the principles are similar in many ways, although our suspensions are radically different. Might try your suspension with my LSD.

EDIT: Went back to my tune, lowered rear toe to -0.05, increased rear camber to 1.5, immediately picked up 3 tenths.

And, splits.

13.627
19.297

EDIT: I'd say Lucas and I are pretty closely matched on this one.

This is annoying me now! Got a .378 1st sector and was .421 for first two sectors but messed up the hairpin! :banghead:

EDIT: Finally improved, unfortunately the T2 wasn't great as I messed the 'extra' turn :( but had a pretty good end to the lap so I think I will submit this time :)
EDIT: New splits times

Wow, that's a serious t1, nice work.

I thought I was done with this one, but I may have another look tomorrow. Not much left though, unless I find something new.

Well, cool. 👍 I was starting to consider not submitting, partly because I had a short/angry session Sat morning and saw a combined 0.3 still left on track, but all dirty laps. But if you and I can have a fun run to the finish, I'm in. 👍

I won't have any more time, so will be submitting what's up there now. Good luck, guys.

Wow! You guys are fast. I was happy to break 14 and 20 on the first two splits but those times are crazy. Guess I can still claim newbie status as I haven't got my official division placement yet. Havin fun all the same. :-))

Oops, I lied. :P Got an hour in tonight and got an even cleaner lap that shaved ~4 hundredths off T1+T2, but had a PB in T3. :D

13.618
19.248

Still using Baron's v2 tune. 👍 Submitting with that. :gtpflag:

EDIT: In all, I ran 287 miles on this one.

Just threw away a 32.76 in the final corner, thought id try and brake later - touched the grass on the outside of the final turn and spun it.
Using edk's suspension tune, cheers for posting. I've never really understood tuning the dampers since the upgrade that rendered the high front, low rear suspension tunes useless.
Its a bit more stable on the exits for my driving style. Going to have a final run tonight before the deadline.

Is anyone using the rigidity upgrade for the chasis? Im not sure if I should try it.

I've thrown a total of 5 32.7s so far :banghead:

I tried it but it seemed to push more mid corner for me so I went back to normal car, also at the hairpin before the last corner it didn't turn in well there for some reason the car felt a lot tighter. I wouldn't install it if I were you.

I didn't use chassis reinforcement :) The brake balance is key to getting the hairpin right, too far rear bias gives you too much turn in and you lose lots of time.

I did try it with Barons tune, found it to be better without...

Gonna have a final go at this one tonight with Kevins tune, was on my limit...

Dampers specifically, I've found very low settings to be useful for any combo that requires you to drive on the rumbles a lot. The car does not get upset as easily with low damper settings.

Tuning in general, post update, I've found that ride height has a much smaller effect overall, and that you can take some different approaches, there's not one right way. I started with even front to rear, but picked up some time right away when I went higher in the back. I tried more extreme, but it just made the car less balanced.

I've found that LSD has the single biggest impact on car character post update. I normally would just set 10/20/10, then tweak from there before the update. But now I find it to be a means of getting the balance of turn in and grip that the suspension settings often will not fully account for.

Damn, these D3G guys are making me feel inadequate! Still finding hundredths, but currently got these splits.

13.662
19.400

And my T3 wasnt even that good! :scared:

Alright, I'm done. Found just a fuzz more. Less than a tenth left so I'll submit this lap.

13.458
19.169

I'm done with this, hope my handicap doesn't take too much of a hit, wouldn't want it to affect any chance I have for promotion :scared: good luck guys

Thanks for the advice and tips on tuning guys.

I had my final run and found a hundredth over the lap.

T1 13.600
T2 19.239

Lost the best part of a tenth in sector 1, but started to see some faster sector 2 times.

Very fun combo, nice addition with the extra corner. Good luck to everyone still running.

13.713
19.498

Better t3 ,

Going to submit now.

Thanks for running the combo guys.👍

Almost equalising my best time with Kevins tune. Submitting my best lap. Good luck to all last minute runners 👍

 So much for my hopes of a podium this week... oh well. Considering my handicap it's still a decent week.

Have to say I'm stunned at Bandit's splits. Just when Baron was looking good for his first win, Bandit comes in out of nowhere and goes a tenth faster than everybody else...

I've been trying to improve, but so far I haven't had one lap within even a tenth of that miracle lap I set a few days ago. I've already submitted that lap, as there's a pretty good chance that I won't improve it.

EDIT - New splits:

13.772
19.150

T1 wasn't very good, but T2 and T3 were both my fastest yet by a substantial margin.

What a mountain I have to climb w/ this one :banghead:

It's hard to think that I can even hit my usual 50% mark on this track. I got a few hrs I can put in but I never usually do too good at this track, oh well here goes nothing. Come on someones magic setup :nervous:

T1: 14.088
T2: 19.953

13.539
19.291

T3 is a bit slower.

13.511
19.428

T1 is very good, T2 is poor, and T3 is my fastest yet.

I've still got nearly 0.3 to make up (all lost in T2).
