Just sector swapping really, not really getting the best out of it yet. Hoping for a moment of awesome.

21.681
22.842

Low 4 at the split should be attainable.

This is unmistakably a Pekka combo, but also a very enjoyable and addictive one! ;)

I thought my pedals had just broke on me, turns out it was the battery on the car running out :yuck:

First splits with a very smoky T2:

21.524
22.913

Ok, now that I got the correct tires on this time, here's my first splits with this slippery little thing.

22.175
23.060

More improvement to follow I'm sure.:sly:

Aw nerts! :P Guess I'll turn down the volume and go again. :sly:

I was wondering where you were.:) Hows the shoulder? Hope its getting better. Anyways, yea, its your turn to one up now.👍

You didn't think you were going to get off that easy now did you?:sly:

Should I get out the tow chain oldtimer?

Well gents, thats it for me till tomorrow. Plugged the car in to charge overnight and will give it another try tomorrow.:sly: Slight improvement at the line over my splits but really nothing to write home about. Kinda starting to like this little electric gizmo of a car. Peace, I'm out.

PS: Sir Clive and DigitalBaka, you two have some work to do now and I don't want no excuses. Especially you Clive.....I'm watching you.:sly:

Geez, thanks Yonker, do you mind hooking up the tow chain to my front carraige. I'm getting kinda tired! :grumpy:

Forget he tow chain, I need snow chains for this bad boy! :sly: Shoulder better but still giving me grief. Gonna go get some seat time anyway. Far be it from me to pansy out on my end of a deal.

Come on guys, NGU.

DigitalBaka: Sorry, don't remember your first name, but if you're really hurting, don't worry about it, I understand. Don't want you to make things worse if your shoulder is giving you real problems. I mean, its just a game and I'm just trying to make it interesting between us but don't want you hurting yourself for real. We can always carry on like this another week. I totally understand if you just want to take it easy and not push things. No need killing yourself over a video game. (I'm the only one stupid enough to do that.) Anyways, there is always SirAlan who I can mess with. Off to snooze now, later gents.

Oh no worries on my end. I'm good enough that it isn't making a difference this week. If it was a more complicated spaghetti string I might sit out but the timing was good...ish. :sly: Gave it a good solid run tonight and I'm no worse for wear, though I'm still not getting along with the car.

I finally nailed down my entry to turn 1; think I was turning too much before. T2 still giving me problems coming in but I think I'm getting there. I feel good after the esses and I don't think I'm losing much time anywhere there. This lap was over 6 tenths better so I must be on the right track. Any time I can be within a tenth of Chris in any sector I'll call that a super win for me. :dopey: We'll see how much competition I can give you as we go this week. What was it Chuk used to say? Racing on! :D

My name is Omar, by the way, though I've been known to respond to idiot, dummy, hey you and dear....though as you're not my wife that last one could get awkward.

Nice T1 Omar! Calling you Dear ain't so bad, watch out if he calls you Honey tho.

Can I change bb without a wheel?

Yes but you have to map the RA functions to your controller. The issue some folks have is that because of the way they have the controller mapped it's hard to find how to map the RA functions.

On my controller I have RA mapped on the following

RA menu = L3
RA item select D-pad up and down
RA item set D-pad left and right

Hope that helps 👍

Edit: sorry forgot to say that once you have mapped the RA buttons you have to activate the RA menu once you have started the race/TT. A small menu will pop up on screen then you scroll up/down to find the option you want and use the left/right to set the value.

Yep , it's all right.
Thank you. 👍

It's a shame I still have to run this unofficially until I get accepted into the registry. :( It still gives me a good taste of how I would stand with the competition.
Welcome to WRS TT's, patience is a virtue :) , judging by your splits you'll be in Div 1 Gold, it all depends on how much effort you put in the qualifying. 👍

Updated splits:

Back in full swing Ramon 👍

Earplugs are the key... :sly:

I'm juggling with hundredths at the mo, with a possible .15 or so still out there:

21.549
22.720

Getting .6s regularly in sector 2 now but not having great success putting the lap together. Best 1st sector 21.504, best 2nd sector 22.648... and I lost nearly a tenth in the last sector holding too tight round the last proper bend, so only gained a pathetic 0.015.

I hate this combo but I'm really enjoying my week off. :dopey:

Well, just got done watching one of my favorite movies of all-time, "Days of Thunder ("The boy don't have the balls to pass me on the outside") which inspired me to take another go at this. I was going to take today off and start again tomorrow, but I just couldn't help myself after watching that movie. Anyway, here's some improved splits.

21.811
22.803

Really gained alot coming to the line as I started taking a different line coming out of the last turn which helped tremendously.:sly:

Kind of creepy how quiet it is even at full speed.

So... after a year of no GT what so ever, about an hour worth of getting a feel for the new rig, here's best of ten laps. Not great but hey its a start. Planning on putting a few hours in over the weekend.

23.453
23.671

Scratch that, couple of tweaks to pedal placement and it's a bit better.

22.687
22.884

Edit: or so I thought it was pedals. Couldn't get near the same time this morning. Checked my replay, forgot to change the dang tires. :dunce:

First set of splits stand.:ill:

New splits

A couple of 5 lap sessions...certainly more to be had here. Power application with the controller is proving difficult with this combo.
