Yeah, I would say a 40.1 is the best possible time, maybe even a high 40.0!

Pedals are busted so I'm done unfortunately... have to decide if I'm going to submit what I've got... probably will submit as it'll be the last runs I make in a while and I put in enough time even if it's about 0.5 off what I'm capable of. Good luck.

not clear how it would look around dirty and where is exactly the limit in T1 and T2
I consider this dirty lap into what I understood, but I put the sectors.

Two tenths better at the line. I may have finally figured out T2, but my T1 was pretty bad. I struggle with T1, have seen .9s now, if I can do a nice clean lap with a low T1, I will be happy.

For some reason I find the opposite. The way the car moves onto the curbs I can almost always feel whether I'm in or not. Don't think I have had to check for dirtyness once. Of course checked my best time to ensure that everything was clean just to be certain.
Either way, think I will submit on tomorrow with my times from the other day. Missing around 2 tenths in sector 1, and maybe around another tenth in sector 2. I always am horrible at the "hidden" sector, so I will probably drop very far down from a rubbish final sector, but whatever
Annoying having to go all the way around parabolica and up the straight every single time I balls up turn 1, just taking a long time to get in lots of laps.

I've decided I'll submit my time from Friday given it'll be my last for some time... I "think" I have a very good final sector, but who knows... My T2 is so bad compared to some of these times I'm sure it won't really matter anyway, but will be curious to see how many passes I can pull off in that final stretch.

This combo has bested me. 
So many laps thrown out due to slight offs.
This lap I'm submitting isn't even in my top 10 local leaderboard. But at least it should
be easy to check, if that's needed.

EDIT: Forgot the positive slant...this lap was done without the driving line, and I intend to follow Tim's lead and leave it off, finally.

Hurrah! You shall never look back! 👍 I know the line really can be very useful, but for me it takes alot away from the experience of the game, and I think it can also help improve you as a driver to not fall back to a fictional line

I did turn it back on for a minute in frustration, but I turned it right back off after thinking "How have I dealt with this bright blue flashy thingy dominating my road-view for so long? Annoying!" 
Got some OK first splits at Autumn Ring without the line as well, but dirty so I didn't post them.
Guessing you have the D2 win as of now, Paul:tup:, too bad Paul'Moff's lap was dirty, that was going to be a close one.

Haha, funny thing is in this combo I was either braking 10m or so after the red line or a few meters before it, it wasn't really accurate as a brake marker for this combo, but the line is always a good reminder especially when drafting in races
Submitted with splits on the board, don't quite want to have a handfull of faster laps only to be rendered dirty by slightly stepping on the green part of the curb, I wish they had those sausage curbs they have on the real track it would make it easier to be clean
