thanks for the props, I couldn't have done it without a good setup to start from. CSLACR's setups are always right near perfect for my driving style. I always tighten it up a smidge and tweak it from there. I always try everyone else's, but have always used his setup and tweak it from there. Thanks so much for setups everyone provides. I just don't have the time to start from scratch. I don't like a loose race car, and last weeks car was ridiculous as far as grip goes, so thats why I didn't care for it. Thats why I like the ones we can tune on much better.

Anyway, thanks again for the props.

Gave it another run with the setup that Millross posted, and managed to beat my time within 30 minutes! That's me done for this one, happy with my splits. Think it was mainly running full downforce on the rear that gained me that last bit of time. :)

T1: 13.429
T2: 38.889

Well, I did say it was a perfect DS3 setup :) - It's mostly CSLACR's though, I only changed the LSD to suit the pad.

Great splits 👍

That's why I tried it aha! Yeah I noticed it was pretty much exactly the same as my suspension (because I was using CSLACR's) but I had 63 downforce on the rear instead of 65 and I was using Vagabond's LSD (which was quite similar to yours as well).

Cheers mate, not looking forward to Week 18, can't stand Monza!

Good to see parts of my tune being used fairly heavily this week. I must have done something good there. :)
Inducing 120mph drifts one at a time...

Ooh, I know - I'll leave it till the weekend!

Genius. So many distractions.

THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN! DRIVE!... slowly and carefully.

T1: 13.895
T2: 40.629

Not happy, Jan. .3 in T1 and .7 (ugh) in T2 better efforts all left out there, and my T3 is probably still pedestrian from the "must... not... touch" feeling that ate all my 53s.

Still, it's a much more fun car than the fully tuned MP4-12C yanaran and myself had to baby around there.

Good luck at Monza, folks. Next weekend == all bad.

Improved shows by a little but final time by a lot. Still not sure I know this track though, even after 650km.

13.820
40.265

Just submitted with the following splits which are very close to my first splits, but about .04 faster.
Wish I had more time for this combo, I like 246 and the car.

Good luck to everyone!

Fantastic splits with the controller Spud

Now i'm sure that receipts around here somewhere for my wheel

No offense, but I don't think it'd be right for Div three to be running 52.5's this week. :scared:
jk 👍
lol, that would be my theoretical best. Achieving it is a different thing, and I leave that to D1 people. I haven't been able to string together decent sectors in all sectors this week. Either I messed up T1, then had a crazy T2 and so-so T3, or good T1, crap T2, great T3 and so on so forth.

I think JBrinkley will take D3 again this week, he's been driving really well and from the Civic on Deep Forest Reverse race, I know he can finish strong in T3. Upgrade to D2 on the way 👍

Crazy... crazy crazy track.

Thought I may have had a chance at a podium this week but that was a pretty fantasy. Just discovered I've been napping through T3 - pushed a bit and got my best T3 of the week but on a lap with splits 0.4 off my best. Gained 0.5 :scared: in T3 so up 0.1 at the line. Ridiculous... :dunce: and now don't have time to repeat that on a better lap.

Submitted with these...

13.601
39.318

Unfulfilled this week. Disappointed. :(

Well done all - some amazing times for the top 3. 👍

Edit - Fetchbot hasn't taken delivery of my submission so looks like I'm out of it anyway. :)

I see this... Can I ask what your time was?

1'34.841

Damn and bugger those 4 tenths. :ouch:

I sent my submission 5 mins before the deadline so it should be included after I speak to Vaxen or Joost I hope.

Did you submit correctly? I assume you would be included unless it rejected you for other reasons?

I notice Rutter and Spud have Identical T3's...
I knew mine was good, but hoped it would gain me a podium. :grumpy: two 4th's and a 5th, gotta get one sooner or later, right? :)

Results, for those unaware - http://wrs.gtplanet.net/GT5/results/17/

I was afraid of that.... T3 was my worst run with the splits.. really goofed up after the sharp right... lost a huge amount of time. I was able to beat it after that, and a few times I even beat my splits, but then I'd tap the wall or botch up the last turn.... really needed more time and I know I could have put up a great lap. I just finally finished getting the tuning right late this afternoon.

Great run T13!!!! was a fun week.

That was a close finish. I know what you mean about the T3, many times I had some quick runs going to T2 only to either bump a wall or have my ghost get by me in T3. So when I saw the lap time at the end of T3 I was really surprised. I only managed to beat/match my ghost in T3 once but nudged the wall on the last corner running too wide. Never got close to matching all my sectors together. Was a fun but frustrating week!

Let's see what week 18 brings. :)

Nice work D4... P B and G, at it again..

My clean laps were few and far between...wish the car wasn't so damn wide! :P I managed a few great laps with the slightest rub against the long cement wall in T3 that would have netted me a 4th I think.

Time to enjoy the seasonals for a change, I think!

Looks like most had T3s in line with the position at T2, with a few exceptions (I went from +.5 to +1.0 and kept the same position assuming Vagabonds wil be added manually). UsualSuspect the winner of the tight race around 7-10th! 👍

Seems to be a few submissions missing though, w-g-e and Ang in D1?
