Had a nice 18.428 T1 after 20 minutes which got ruined by me clipping the wall, fml.
Can't remake that time, time for bed - will try tomorrow.

Sector 2 is a killer, need to work out a line...I lose at least 2 seconds there. :x

If I get some time tomorrow I'll work on it. 👍

2.5hrs and I finally got a clean lap worth posting

18.426
22.506

TS 50/50, BB 7/5, ABS 5

Quick morning session with a little improvement. 50/50 6/4

18.485
22.250

Haha, thanks, it felt good going around the hairpin... I was wondering how much lower D1 guys were gonna go, and you're showing me low 18.3s are possible and you're in the 22.0s for T2, very nice indeed Kelvin!

Thanks,

Like I said .2s are possible but I can never hook T2 up when I get one, all in all I think there may be another couple of tenths left in the lap, but not easy to find 👍

Turn 1 still giving me trouble, but I'm getting used to the double left.

18.464
22.026

After a frustrating session, I've finally got some splits worthy of posting.

T1: 18.352
T2: 22.120

AS Off, 50/50 Torque split, 5/5 Brake balance.

New Splits:

T1: 18.448
T2: 22.294

I've seen 40.7xx split 2 times with 18.6xx first sectors, so there is still a couple of tenths in T2. I haven't seen anything below 18.400 in T1, but I can see how it would be possible.

I'm starting to think maybe i'd be better off in D2 :dopey:

EDIT: Oh you've got to be kidding me. You have to be logged in for it to show your GTP tag in the replay? :yuck: I thought the GTP_tag was tied to my save game file. I'm going to call time on this week then unless I can get this update downloaded (Seriously, my internet is taking the mick, 200+ minutes to download 62MB)

Change you're profile name to GTP, this way if you're having internet troubles you're replay will still show up as GTP:tup:

Update:-

18.406
22.294

Still some work to do but this is a lot better than I ever thought I could do at one point yesterday.:)

18.425
22.481
50/50 torque split, 5/5 bb for now. ABS 1 - I rarely change that, never sure if it helps much.

Welcome back T13R, missed you last week. Our division is running out of room

Ran a brief session at this one, and these are the results:

18.352
22.211

Tricky combo, need to refine lines/techniques and BB, be back later.

Nice splits Hydro.

Sorry I couldn't join in last week, I've had some family from abroad over and it was a hectic last week for them and us. Only found some time Sunday to run WRS so I decided to skip and go straight to this race.

There isn't much room left in our division, but we are possibly the most active division of late... we bring in the action :D

New splits:

T1: 18.305
T2: 22.003

Pretty close to my limit now, gonna have to try and change my B/B and torque split to find some more time I think!

Ran another hour and got these:

18.312
21.953

50/50, 7/5, no AS, shift 7100rpm, cross line 155km/h+ (very important, take wider route in final corner to achieve this speed), brake slow and steady and methodically for the first corner, fractionally after the braking marker, exiting in gear 2, should be one action, and that can be difficult to execute, If you're forced to partial throttle at all, or tap the gas, you've stuffed it.

Brake down to 3rd, and partial throttle mid corner, hopping over the curb (slightly) when exiting, at around 118-120 ish in 3rd (tried 4th for 10 minutes but offers inferior grip), shift at 7300rpm (or 128 ish) as you get off the rumbles. last corner, fairly straightforward, down to second, and see what happens, you ca use the rumbles or not, but its a fairly unimportant corner!

Nice splits man, it was good at the top while it lasted. :sly: I'll have to try your tips tomorrow as I take the left hand section in 4th gear and the last corner in 3rd gear!

Tried last night and was about to give up on this week because of the 🤬 walls on the doble left

After Dan´s "lesson" tried again and manage some splits:

T1: 18.502
T2: 22.234

Interesting that the top time in each division is with a DS3 apart from D1, where Dan's magic is keeping Spud at bay (for now), but only by four hundredths...

Agree, Jon. And tonight when I used my DS3, I beat my hard-fought previous wheel time by a tenth within 15min. The double left is a bit easier with the DS3, for me, but I also find drifting way easier with the DS3.

18.491
22.352

I've seen three 18.3xx's in T1, but this is my best T2 so far.

EDIT: Thanks to Dan, I'm now shifting earlier too. 👍 Nice 21.9 in T2! Hope it's nice and slidey.

Yes, a big thanks to you Daniel. Especially the earlier shifting makes for a big difference. 👍
There is still some improvement possible in T1, but T2 is as good as it gets for me.

18.432
22.039

Splits from my run last night.

18.345
22.144

Maybe a little more left still but I don't know if i'll do it.:)

Nice splits Dan and Spud 👍

I have been waiting patiently to be knocked down the leaderboard:sly:

I ran another session last night, a car length ahead of my ghost throughout the lap and on the last corner, for no apparent reason let my car make contact with the barrier on exit of the last turn. The slightest movement to the left would have avoided this, but I must have fallen asleep mid corner :banghead:

I will be having another go later on to try and reclaim top spot :sly:

Some cracking times in D2 being set, nice splits guys 👍
