T1: 16.932
T2: 20.862

Long story short, increased the rear damper extension to 10 and used the BB 2/10. Plus my tweaks of Min rear springs, Front ARB 1, Zero rear camber, -1.00 rear toe, LSD 5 12 5 to Kevins Tune.

I had a PB in T1 in the 16.8xxs and I got a new PB thru T2 on this lap to go with my new PB thru T3 I did on this lap as well. Gained 3 tenths at the line. How much is tune and how much is how I drove it differently I cant say. I had to drive differently tho the tune tweaks made me have to.

Im so happy I probably wont try again to beat my OT for a bit and just enjoy the feeling. It was hard and took alot of laps of trying. I got a massive reward tho of 3 whole tenths. Not 1 not 2...3!!!:)👍

Changed to BB 2/9 and added -0.1 rear toe, dropped over 0.6 off OT.
Changed to using 2nd in the hairpins rather than staying in 3rd.

Tried this EDK suspension in my online lounge, testing for next week's 3D3 race, and the oversteer was actually kind of fun! 👍 And matched my OT from the Seasonal TT pretty quickly, despite all the sliding. :odd:

New splits just slightly better than the ones posted, but a gain of nearly 2/10th's at the line :)

T1: 16.691
T2: 20.790

Nice splits Cicua, so close to a .3 at T2 :D

First splits from 2nd session (Yes, 1st session was that bad :D )

T1: 16.711
T2: 20.828

Still don't really get it and with me moving house this weekend, not sure if I'll get a lap that I'll be happy to submit or not :P. T3 wasn't great on this one either, so room for more I guess.

Good to see you again Spy and nice splits!
Cheers.

Botched the final bend in excitement :grumpy:
Great splits mate 👍

Its going to be close ... :nervous:

:)

After my Bobs drove to a gallant 12th in the GVS300, and broke in the engine for me I updated the gearbox as per Kevs post, I did this:
T1: 16.959
T2: 21.081
Oh so close to the 37's...

Thanks! But now those splits are not bad at all either 👍

I have not seen a .3 yet, only a .403 that I fumbled. 0.4 seems to be the wall right now, though at least .35 should be possible with a .6 T2. I think I need a day's break.

Great splits mate 👍

Thanks, you keep pushing me to it ... and I am afraid you have more in the bag ;)

Some more laps last night and some improvement.
Seen 16.7x on T1 and 20.7x on T2 so still far from my limit but then there is that dreadful T3, and that last turn can serious damage a good run 👎

T1: 16.847
T2: 20.864

Well slower T1 and T2 times today but the T3 made up for it, I'm finding this data logger quite handy to see where I'm losing time on some laps, generally it seems to be a distance thing rather than maintaining speed.

Guess I'll have to have a go with EDK's tune. I've been using Vagabond's initial set up with a lil' stiffer springs. Nice balanced set up, thanks.

Seems like I've gotten in a rut with the first turn. Keeping in the 17.1's and .2's at best or just botching it. The last turn is an adventure!

I'm surprised that I'm actually enjoying this little bugger, pretty fun to toss around with all the mods.

The first split is easy, but I can't get my head around the second... and I have no hopes at all for the third.

Well this weeks configuration is sure showing me how week my cornering really is! I love it!

Nice job MarkyBoy.

Not finding this one easy at all myself either.

New slightly lower splits.
T1: 16.953
T2: 20.822

Ahh ok, looks like a late apex worked for me on T1, not matching my bests in the other sectors but I think I'll run the car in and get some extra power and try to hook it all up.

Nice T1 Peter 👍

Viper, what is that T2 :ill:

Some more laps but to much inconsistent yet

T1: 16.803
T2: 20.850

Bad....

This is a great week for you to learn to use the wheel.

Focus on the right amount of brake pressure (not too much) and being really smooth with your initial turn in. You might need to use some counter steer to get the car all the way to apex, and you may need to do the same at the exit rumbles to keep it on track.

Which aspect of car control are you struggling with as compared to the pad?

I am struggling with absolutely nothing! Just not very fast! :)

First 16 laps, car is not up to power (120 I think?), no tune applied yet, laps feel and look ok, they're just not very fast.

Put about 25 hours into Forza 4 on it so I'm getting used to driving with it so I need to adapt to GT5s physics first and start chipping away

It'll be alright, I just need about 300 laps to get somewhere near the middle of the leaderboard :D

Try my tune out, I've only run about 20 minutes worth of laps so far and my splits are respectable. And it's with stock HP.
