If anyone hits 800 hp let me know, pretty weird having 15 more than everyone else :)

First few laps

35.004
1'05.474

Still lots to improve, T2 especially

Allright!!! Nice combo! 👍 Kevin
I'll give this a go this evening

EDIT: nice to see the belgians are back /\

Total crap, sorry about that. :ouch:

You could always go stay in Anaheim near Disneyland. They have some great (but spendy) hotels right on site (Grand Californian is amazing), or there are several more reasonable but less luxiurious options nearby. Would give you links, but this is from Android.

 at Quantas trying to keep you out of this WRS. :P

Thanks Kev, seems it's karma for me having a laugh at the delayed DLC and Spa release for North America! And it's not like I haven't already done my bit to support the American economy!

I tried calling Qant-ass earlier but after being on hold for a shade under two hours we went out for breakfast and came back to read this so hopefully all is not lost and our trip won't be too affected (if at all) - fingers crossed...

Tried calling them again and the number doesn't even work now!

Will keep posting on our progress back to Oz.

In the for what it's worth colum, Little Lefty is w/ me this week and we can't give any money to PSN to buy the unique track pack for his login so he is going to use my login because this is his only way to play unless he does his online in my lobby using his login. I don't know what to do since my time w/ him is limited so any suggestions or maybe there is some wiggle room considering the nature of the single user BS that is attached to this DLC problem.

Probably your game language is Dutch so you have pk instead of BHP

800 Paardenkracht [PK] = 789,05605605361 Brake horsepower [bhp]

OK, good to know, thanks Sjaak 👍

I'm doing this weeks challenge on my original account, and I did what Chris explained in the Spa topic earlier.
Log out of PSN, change username and race offline, then your replay is on your GTP_username. It will be a bit of a hassle but then you can both race.

34.953
1'03.949

777bhp in it

Lost .250 in blanchimont trying to stay over 150mph!

Edit: Blew a 1.38.5 by crashing at Blanchimont. /RAGE = turned it off. Come back another day ;)

I don't know how these clever names keep coming up, but I like it.
Love that power rating for this track too. :)

Love the theme Kevin:tup: Some early splits with the default settings.

T1- 34.741
T2- 1.02.536

Eau Rouge is just:drool:

:dunce: Man "P" I don't even understand what your talking about, who is Chris? and can you link me to your info? I feel so, in the Duh zone today :)

I know you asked this in the background forum, but legitimate question someone would have asked anyhow.

Just steward preference, and trying to take a tuning variable out of the equation. The stock transmission is basically a fully customizable with stock settings and without the annoying whine.

:dunce: I don't understand what you are getting at, they refer to the defalt trans as Standard (which means stock I'm assuming) and I can't adjust anything so I'm puzzled.

Doesn't "customizable" mean I can adjust it?

Chris is vagabond, when you turn on your ps3 you have to select a user, user 1 user 2 or you may have edited. You can change the name of the user that you downloaded the DLC under by pressing triangle while highlighting it, all the way to the left. Select change user name and rename it GTP_LittleLefty and then sign out of the PSN. He can run and when he saves a replay it will say GTP_LittleLefty. You have to be signed out though. When you want to run, Big Lefty :sly:, just sign back in and it will save the replay as normal.

Isn't it just? :P Nice opener Rutter 👍

That would be me, when I'm known by my given name :sly: What he means is... Change the name of your account in the XMB (PS3 menu before you load the game) to GTP_LittleLefty and do not sign in to PSN - then Little can do his session and save his replay. His replay will be saved with the name of the PS3 account not the PSN account (ie GTP_LittleLefty). Then when you want to do your session, log into PSN and your replay will be saved with the PSN account name (ie GTP_LeftyWright) 👍

Kev means it has the same ratios as the Fully Customisable defaults but you can't alter them. :)

OK another session before dinner. Getting used to the extra power of the car with its tune and massive turbo.

(Edited - I was not a second down in sector 1 :sly:)

Was right on the edge through Pouhon. Eau Rouge was about as smooth as I can do it flat out but got a great run out of turn 1. The next lap though, I was over a tenth up at T2... and that was all in sector 2. Then went straight off exiting Stavelot... curse of the on-screen split timer.

Here's a noob question: when I bought the Schulze car I installed both the semi- and the race exhaust. Now I can't deselect both of them. My power is still in the normal power band (below 800) but I hesitate if I now have to buy another car to meet the requirements?

Semi-racing is the default exhaust Steven, so just select that one 👍

Making decent progress at this stage. :)

I really don't get how you can take Eau Rouge/Raidillon flat, I just go in a straight line if I try it and miss the corner by at least 15 feet. The absolute fastest I've been through it was with a 1 second lift at something around 150mph or just over and that led to a 34.86x but most of the time I'm lucky to not get red-clocked and get under 35.

Bruxelles and entry to Pouhon are also :banghead: - particularly the former, I'm getting to grips with Pouhon but Bruxelles is like driving off the edge of an off-camber mountain, I seem to go faster by double-apexing it and running quite wide initially to straight line the exit

So if I DLC'd on my account X lets say and then log in to Littles account y and kill off the auto login, log out to my account "X", change Littles account Y and renameit to X so he can see the content because we are spoofing the PS3s data base, don't login to PSN so the mother ship won't conflict w/ the PS3's now spoof'd data base.

He does his runs get's his branding on the replay and then what rename him back to his orig. login "Y"?

At some point won't I have two account X's at one time?

Did Eau Rouge flat out once, made it and crashed the next corner :yuck:

Que? You're over-complicating it Lefty. Rename the PS3 user login to the other ID from the PSN account. IE, if the DLC belongs to GTP_LeftyWright, then rename the user login (in XMB) to GTP_LittleLefty and don't login to PSN when Little is running. Then when you're running, make sure you're logged in to PSN. Or vice versa. Easy.

Yeah Eau Rouge can be done flat out Joost but I think I'm actually lifting slightly at the bottom then going full throttle... There's only one line that will let you take it flat and maintain stability... and not red-clock the timer. I'll put one of my Sector Guide videos up if anyone would like a peek...

Still finding traction with this tank. Huge grip if you nail the exits right.

Lefty: You also have to rename your GTP_account that doesn't have Spa, because it won't accept 2 of the same usernames (tried it myself)

first go with this combo.
Need to work out 'Eau Rouge' apparently :ouch:

Video Sector Guide - Sector 1 (Eau Rouge)

This was my 34.558

Not perfect - wide in turn 1 and lifted too much in the uphill of Eau Rouge but a fair indication of what line to take. :)
