Last lap though... :banghead:

Feels so damn difficult to get 3 good laps in a row today :grumpy:

Well, went back and reviewed my fastest 3 lap replay and it's dirty.:banghead: On the slowest lap of the 3 I had 3 wheels off on the second to last righthander.

So throw that out and I had an unsuccessful day. I really struggled to put 3 laps together. At one point I ran a session where the first two laps were my fastest yet and then went off exiting the final corner of the third lap. I will have one more go tonight but if I can't put anything decent together I won't be submitting.

Another week of me holding up the bottom... ugh... Everytime I got a time that would have me move up 3-8 spots on the leaderboard I would blow it before I was done with all 3 laps... I doubt I am going to move up anymore.

Submitted. Not the most consistent three lapper, don't expect to be challenging for the podium but will be happy if I can manage 5th or 6th in D2, which will be an achievement in itself with the blazing speed of the competition.....

All the best to those still running! Infact, all the best to everyone whether running or not! Cheers!

Edit: 'Your time of [etc] for week 44 has been accepted.' - Thanks fetchy, I'll leave a small brandy and mince pie out for you in a weeks time.

Just had a freaking frustrating session tonight, couldn't even improve my 3 laps :( I could earn at least 0,5 second if I wasn't angry and busy :yuck:
I guess I won't race tomorrow at all, so I'll submit with these laps...
Every session I'm losing a lot of time in an alone sector
Couldn't get better than 17.5xx :dunce:
I guess you are still faster than me Millross ;)

Took a tenth off my best lap, and off the combined time. 👍

I know exactly how you feel mate. I have thrown my two best combinations away on the last time through that corner. 1 last go tonight if I dont succeed I will have to post my safe laps.

Gonna give this a bash, signed up a while back and then my GT5 started acting up. :dunce:

Its just like groundhogday for me!!!
I've lost count of the number of times i have had to bin a 3 lap blinder thanks to the last corner on lap #3.

Keep pushin though, as i have said before, on these lap combo weeks, you never know what difference someone may have in their laps, its all about consistency.

I'll be holding my breath, submitting and hoping for the best!

Cheers All !!!

Very Frustrating! putting 3 together is tougher than expected  same old story... last turn on lap 3 :dopey:

21.465
17.424
18.310

Started one of my races with a lap faster at every split (than the splits above) on lap 1 and royally stuffed Turn 1 on lap 2... saved the ghost for chasing down anyway :grumpy: I'll get a few more attempts before the end hopefully 👍

GL all

Great splits Lucas and Baron 👍

After a christmas party with my friends, and after some drinks arrived
at home and did some more laps with my spirit "high" :dopey:

T1: 21.512
T2: 17.435
T3: 18.406

Submitted with posted times. Not expecting too much, can't wait to see the results though.

Been lots of fun battling in D2 lately.

Submitted with posted times. Good Luck to all, this has been a blast.

Thanks, and right back at ya! 👍 I don't expect to hold on for a D2 podium, though, my other 2 laps were not that great. I'm submitting now with what I got.

Good luck to everyone still riding the slow rollercoaster!

Struggling to put anything together for one lap, let alone 3. After about an hour of driving tonight I said maybe I'm just not used to the new wheel so I pulled out the wheelstand pro and G27. Holy 🤬 that was much worse. Calling it a night with no replays to even consider. Hoping I can get some time in the morning to run a few. This may be the first time I put 5+ hours into a week and not submit.:yuck:

Just looked at my Excel sheet and realized I submitted the wrong time :dunce:
I really don't want to be DQ in my first event, have resubmitted correct time :)

finding some consistency at last...

21.447
17.431
18.278

I'm hoping to find another couple of tenths overall and will submit then 👍

So frustrating yet so fun 1 lap not too bad but then you have to get 3 in a row. I think I will have to submit my latest group. My hand feels like its about to cramp up from holding the controller for so long. Will see how I go for now my splits on my best lap of my best group are.

21.693
17.653

Nish_280z sent me a pic through GT5 to know if it is dirty or not...

nishsuzuka.jpg

If I'm correct that's the same turn where GTP_Luds78 asked the same in his post.https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6351112#post6351112

Luds was a bit further on the gutter, so I'll leave this up to the rest of you guys.

PS: Nish, I'm going to send you a PM on how to upload a pic into the thread. 👍

@pic... Looks to me that the exact moment that pic was taken it is clean 👍 it's the pic about 1 tenth of a second later where the rumble strip ends abruptly that should have been snapped to give a more definitive answer, the tyre looks to heading for dangerous territory but cant be sure with that pic alone!

I just had my last session and beat my time fractionally, quite happy with the end result but it was torture stringing 3 together especially last bend on lap 3 haha  Submitting now.

Great combo Kev! Nice and simple jump in and go with no tuning... will be back for more of these soon as it gave me a taste for GT5 again 👍

GL to all in results

The week went to the end without chances to drive here :grumpy:
So, here's second session:
T1: 21.516
T2: 17.513
T3: 18.398

By the way, the photo here above is absolutely clean for me, in the moment that it's taken. More, there are 3 wheels on track. No guesses about what happened after.

So it's when the car hits the area marked red in the following pic, it's going to be dirty.
Frankly I don't see him understeering so he makes the tarmac in time.

Yeah, I already scrapped it as bad lap and it was an amazing one. I kept the ghost save because I was proud of myself . Was 57.40x which is a full tenth and half then my next best (which was also in a ruined 3 lapper and the next 10 in fact). I now have no run if I can't find a little time later then this will be a no submission for me. Out of nearly 7 hour's :(.

Thank you Chris for helping me out :).

Thats what I was classing as dirty on my replay, it took me a about 10 times to get the photo just after that part to see if I had clipped the concrete and I had.

@Nish I would try and take some more photos see if you can get it a split second later.

First splits

21.641
17.590
18.413

Submitting with these splits

21.631
17.449
18.497

Whish I had more time to do this combo only got chance today but got a good couple of hours in. Seen quicker laps but couldnt keep it up for 3 laps so found if I went a bit slower I got consistant laps

I definitely hit that concrete curbing with my front tire. Will try again when I return home. The thing that makes me very disappointed is on all other attempt's my inside tire didn't get that far let alone the outside one's.
