GTP_WRS (GT5) Week 49 : TZ2, TZU

Slightly slower splits, but almost a tenth up at the line. Getting frustrated because I just can't put a full lap together:

T1: 24.077
T2: 35.685

I've seen 23.9 in T1 quite a bit, but can never bring it home.

OK, now I'm confused. Terrible T2 as I just missed 100R and sloppy everywhere -- caught a curbing at the hairpin, missed a shift, but another tenth quicker at the line???

T1: 24.091
T2: 35.823

A cleaner T2 with about the same T3 so a couple tenths up at the line:

T1: 24.033
T2: 35.617

I know there is 3 tenths left for me on the track because I got a "rumbled" red flag lap that was that much quicker and it wasn't perfect.

Yes, it's back, for now. Please don't remind me. I'm not happy with Comcast for making me miss these races due to a couple tree limbs. :-/ And they don't even give an estimate...just a pre-recorded "We are aware of your service outage..."

Yeah, I know all about Comcast. It's either that or satellite here. I'm not impressed with either of them.

Here's my latest splits:
T1: 24.066
T2: 36.017

This is using Kevin's tranny, same suspension except front shocks are 5/3. BB is 8/10, from Ramon.

I've seen a .8xx in T1, my t2 is slow right now, but my t3 is strong. Not blazing, just not wimpy!!

I am dedicated to using the next 36 hours for nothing else more than laps on this combo!!!

Getting some good chair/ironing board time on this, now (I really need to build a sturdier portable mount). Hopefully a few short sessions left!

I'm pulling out of this one I'm afraid guys. I'm sorry to admit I'm not having fun with this combo... I am, in fact, finding it very frustrating. I've spent upwards of 6 hours on it already with very little progress and there's no joy in it for me now, its just a grind of repeating the same mistakes lap after lap and screaming at the red clock 3 laps out of 4.

It may be a developing down trend for me but quite a few combos recently have defeated me mentally - I've been quicker to throw in the towel rather than settle in to figure it out. Might be time to take a break.

Was really looking forward to this one. But couldn’t do the amount of time, for this week as I normally do. Had a busy week at work and doesn’t feel so good either. Only did some stints last Sunday. Although I feel a bit better today and it was better not to drive (sometimes you have listen to your body, talks louder to you when you well past your twenties ) I decided to do some short stints throughout the day. Manage to find quite some time at the line. Still far from happy with my T3 though.
Saw .7 at T1, Don’t think I can much faster at T2.

Then in the body : Time:X'XX.XXX

Havent got a clue what is wrong .

The correct format is:

Time: x'xx.xxx

Ensure that the spaces, characters and capitalization is correct as per the OP, it has to be exact. Your example shows no space after the colon.

I've found a GT5 game save on my USB stick. It's quite old and I don't have many cars on it.. but I do have this car.

And I've just set up my old DFGT.. Those pedals will take ages to get used to again...

Was pretty close to giving up on this combo when I backed out and gave the car another oil change. Decided I would give it 5 more laps. Lap 5 I ended up running .2 faster at the line and then the very next lap took another .3 off. finally hit a rhythm with this car. Just a shame it happened towards the end of the week.

Made a little progress today before the Patriots game today:

My T3 was not fantastic, but was above average (for me). A nice jump at the line. 👍

I've got one more go at this before the game starts and then maybe a little more tonight. If I could pick up two tenths in the final sector and one tenth in sector 2 I think I've hit my limit.

Personally... I LOVE THIS COMBO!

Can't wait to race it online. Even the stock setup is awesome to drive online.

I think I'll give this one more run tomorrow to see if I can gain back some time in T1.

After that I'll submit and then begin hunting down the page for the Fanatec Support form. Unless it would just be easier to continue dealing with the standard pedals not functioning properly as I have no way of getting video proof of the issue.
