GTP_WRS (GT5) Week 50 : Running with the Night

I have to say, if that "mini curb" at the end of t2 is legal, I am a bit annoyed. I threw away several quicker laps because I thought a curb is a curb. Probably should have been clarified in the op.

This foam trick with the pedals has turned it into a whole new ballgame. I've checked and re-checked. These are my latest splits. And for the record, Baron, I am not using that curb either. What a morning this has been!!!

Make sure you don't have anything formatted. (Bold, color, etc.)

And Duck is right, you have to do it exactly like this. And don't add anything. Sending only the time is the issue you are having. You need to add the first part shown below.

Time: 1'11.111

Ok, so I have to put "Time:" next to our lap time now. I haven't done alot of these and the last time I sent my times, it was usually just the time.

Just submitted my time.

Decided to use the lap posted on the leader board, rather than my very slightly faster lap that used the "mini" curb after the hairpin. There was also a very close call to a guard rail in T3.

I spent too much time on this one to take even a slight chance there would be any debates over what's clean or not.

I realize my lap will likely need reviewing and approval, but I'm much more confident with the lap I submitted.

A tough but strangely additive combo for me. Good luck to all.👍

So long as mounting the curb shown here is acceptable, here's my new splits.

There's another couple of tenths overall if I can get close to my best on each sector. I'm not sure if I'll have time to try though.

I can't see how that couldn't be legal, "all surfaces are track", that low curb is a surface and the track boundary is clearly visible - the crash barrier!

As long as it's not a raised curb that you run into, you are fine.

The other curb I answered a question about is basically like a low wall, I'm not even sure you would be able to drive the car up onto it.

The t1 didn't get to me, because I had beaten the ghost to that point before.

At t2, I felt a twinge in my stomach.

Going into the tunnel, my eyes were wide open, hands clenched on the wheel!

Then, a warm fuzzy feeling from the exit of the tunnel to the line!!

I qualified with the pad in GT5 prologue WRS.

Chuk, I could do this for the rest of the year and still not match your time. I think I've put 12 + hours into this combo already, 1 tenth away from hitting the 'perfect' lap but the 'perfect' lap isn't really perfect I guess. One hell of a run, I GOT to see that replay...

I'm not giving up by the way, still want to beat Twissy.
