Finally a T1+T2 I am happy with that didn't get ruined by my T3, but I've seen a T3 .6s faster than the one from that lap... I'll keep trying to put it all together. Using Duck's BB/ABS settings.

I somehow have lost all ability to to string anything together.:ouch:
Slower splits but faster total lap time.

30.311
28.368

Submitted with the following splits as I believe I'm too burnt out on this one.
30.308
28.284

Good luck to all and see you in the results thread!

I'm gonna take one more crack at it. My t3 right now is strong, but I don't trust anything about t3's!

The lined areas are legal, Baron. That looks like a legal pic to me...

Yikes

I've been treating those mini curbs as legal, as long as you don't hit the barrier. The bigger curbs, that Al posted about (in turn 3) are different, in that they can't be driven on.

The curbs around the first T2 bend after the hairpin, are they not allowed? There isn't an invisible wall between curb and those barriers.

I was kind of clipping the curb, like an apex.. :nervous:

Set a nice easy lap about a week ago and I have not been close to beating it all week, very frustrating. Submitting with current splits and moving on to the Rain Dance.
Good Luck to you all.

WOW!!! Yes, Jake, the foam seems to work!!

I was so shocked at the t1, I nearly stopped the car to check it again. Hence, the poor t2. Then I recovered enough to gain a full tenth at the line. Still not done, but that t1.... :)

T1: 29.852
T2: 28.245

Racing On!!!

Hey guys can I just clear something up, is the following legal? because I'm pretty sure I read something from earlier from Gravitron saying the kerb in Turn 2 couldn't be driven on?

I just need to make sure because I've been driving all over this all week and it would make my lap invalid ?

You're cool, Twissy. All you need is two tires on the red and white, and you're laughin'!

Thanks, Jon!

Truthfully, I never set the brake bias, so that is 5/5, but ABS 10. I was just fiddling around with some foam blocks to get a better idea of exactly what I want in new pedals! :dopey:

Sorry, Twissy, I meant turn 3:

Are the grey colored curbs considered Walls? Example the curb below the shrubs on the first right hand kink in the lighted trees shown below?

Al

That squared off curb is like a wall, and will give a wall sound if you bump it.

Forgot to say: Awesome T1 Chuk! Not sure I'll have time to hit this one any more.

Cheers Grav, Just wanted to make sure for myself. Yep you certainly know when you hit one of those wall curbs

New splits!

T1: 30.003
T2: 27.945

It seems to me that the foam is pushing the pedal back faster, which is what makes the difference. I still need to get used to it and tweak it, but the change is amazing!!

I did put my brake bias to 7/8. I'm going to see how far I can take it on this combo before I try the rain!

Racing On!

That's good to know. I have a faster lap than the one on the leader board.
I didn't post it because I just ticked that same mini curb with the tire. Glad I saved the replay.:)

I don't "know" how good they are, but they said:

(millross) but I had an epic PB in T3,
(Duck) Also it's one of my best T3

The one lucky T3 I got, in a thrown-away lap, was a good indicator of how much can be gained there. :scared:
I was lying in the bottom side of the D2!!!
It was sure one of my bests to climb the board :D
I usually have a good T3, and gain some positions. But the Chamonix week hurted my heart (well.... at least a finger), badly. To Raven, and Biffy

Not sneaking up this week with any splits, but really enjoying the fight on D2 so always here. Can´t wait for tomorrow night

(This week i´m at TT Tsukuba, currently 71º, exactly one second behind Ramon :scared:)
Nice you are following it!!
Up to the next one, Joao

New splits!

I was just fearing some chukabillity :D
What I was saying yesterday about that last .15? Then... you found almost 0.09 of it

Epic battle! I was right about the similarity with the M3 week. Very close all together. I thinked it was impossibile around these armco and sidewalks

Well, I think I did. We had company just as I set that lap. It is important not to let company drink alone. Therefore, all I've done is verify the lap clean, record the splits, and post them.

Yes, Dear Wife of Mine, I'll take another beer and get off the computer! :)

Hey guys,

I just wanted to check, on Ali's picture is the first, flat part of that curb legal. Before it squares off there's like that flat bit a different colour to the road tarmac that runs along side it, that isn't raised up off the ground. I think i ran across that but didn't hit the raised curb, and didn't touch any invisi-walls. Just wanted to check if that bit is out of bounds or not.
I only had about half the front and rear tyres on that flat piece, and the other half on the road tarmac. There is still a lot of room on the flat piece before the squared off curb and invisi-wall. Sorry I can't upload a picture im on the train to work.

Cheers

Wow, i've just been having a quick look through the new times people added here, and i cant believe the times! i thought i had squeezed as much as i could out of the car and yet the people in Div 3 and Div 2 have taken at least a second off of my sector times :boggled:

Can't wait for me to get a lot better so i can do the same :)

Yeah, Lou, that should be legal. It sounds like a rumble when you go over it, which is distinct from a wall-bang sound. Subject to overruling by EDK, but if it's illegal, I'm out for the week, 'cause I went over it too. :ouch:

Ok cool, cheers. Thnking about it I definitely kept 2 wheels on the track at all times and didn't hit any objects visible or invisible so should be fine. Still have a few tenths to find so hopefully will get a better run tonight.

Thanks again.

I am utterly frustraited with the Fetchbot right now. Seriously, what in the world am I doing wrong to keep getting "Invalid body"?:grumpy:

Is the message body like this? (Example-)

Time: 1'10.100

So long as mounting the curb shown here is acceptable, here's my new splits.

30.409
28.336

There's another couple of tenths overall if I can get close to my best on each sector. I'm not sure if I'll have time to try though.

Thanks, I was getting worried last night trying to get a lap just as fast, it wasn't happening though.

I usually just put the lap time and nothing else.

Make sure you don't have anything formatted. (Bold, color, etc.)

And Duck is right, you have to do it exactly like this. And don't add anything. Sending only the time is the issue you are having. You need to add the first part shown below.

Time: 1'11.111

Just submitted for this week, really enjoyed lapping in the dark with this car - didn't think I would either!

Managed to improve in T1 as I seem to have been slow there all week but couldn't make it stick through T2 and T3 and hence nothing quicker by the line, I just wasn't smooth enough to get sub 30s in T1.
