I am going to leave my replay with Gerchu as I will not be able to send it in myself.
Hope that's ok!
See you all next week sometime :)

I thought my car needed an oil change because the car was going slower but it turns out it was just my gas pedal resisting operating at 100%. :ouch:

Not sure if I'll be able to get a faster time but I know there's just about .5 seconds left in my skill if I do manage to get a faster lap without any pedal trouble.

T1: 29.343
T2: 26.284

At least every day I get a brief moment to see myself in the lead on the splitsboard in D2. Seems the next time I get to look Im always in 3rd:lol:

Nice splits Jack. Yeah there's some really good times on the board. I'll have a run this evening, and then one final effort tomorrow before the deadline. Can't match you guys through t1 so far, but hopefully I'll figure it out this evening - maybe a bit earlier on the power, and a tighter line through the left hander down the hill.

Yeah a slightly shorter route kind of thing is what I do on the exit of the last part of T1. Also if your using 4th all the way thru to control wheel spin the best you can do is a low 5. so maybe at first apex 4th get on the gas then down shift to 3rd take the slippery dip and stuff in the second apex in 3rd.

Also heres what I changed from my posted tune. LSD 5 5 5 camber 2.4 1.4 BB is 0/3

I kinda tried both sides of 2.5 1.5 equal 2.8 1.8 wasnt that great 2.2 1.2 wasnt either but I moved up to 2.3 1.3 and I did my 2nd quickest lap today I moved up to 2.4 1.4 and beat my best OT so whether its a fluke or it works for sure I cant say but hey I beat my lap!!!

You could play with the rear ride hieght as high as it is it makes the car difficult on corner exits at the end of them but gets better tractrion thru T1s slippery stuff...just try setting the rear all the way low and the trouble parts of the track to control when your on the throttle hard get reversed. Pretty weird.

Still for me the fastest is the highest ride hieght possible in the rear. I prefer how the car is with the rear as low as possible to be honest but T1 then becomes impossible to take quickly.

The rises and dips it just kinda blue burns the tires instead of getting the power to the ground. You will hear the revs climb to quickly. Lose time.

Also it might not be totally obvious but if you ever have to counter steer even slightly you lose time.

Cheers for all the tips Jack, I'll definitely give it a try. Im running bb 7/5, and lsd at 10, 15, 8. Hopefully will have some better splits to post a bit later.
Cheers.

I have a little bit of time before the NASCAR race starts so I'm going to chase my ghost to see if I can make it to the 1 second club again, 24 thousandths shouldn't be to difficult I hope

Been trying for two hours to beat my time, then managed to beat my time even with worse splits and crossing the line at 105mph.
Was about to give up for the night then managed to knock another tenth off, but with a slower t3.

29.498
26.288

Thanks again for your bb settings Jack. I'm using 0/3 for t1 now then changing to 3/3 for the big breaking point at the end of t1/ beginning of t2, to help slow the car down. Then after this corner Im going back to 0/3 for the rest of the lap. I never thought of using 0/3 before, or adjusted bb during a lap, but its definitely helped my time.

Got a few more runs in, can't seem to catch Div 4 leaders, great splits guys!

Can't keep the cable running from the pedal to the wheel connected tightly. That's my issue. If I can figure out a way to keep the cable secure I won't have any problems.

I also can't get a faster lap because of it. Well, that and the kink before T2 timing line. Was up by .3 one time and hit the curb just wrong and it launched the car into the wall.

With that, I'm submitting with what's currently on the board.

Gt3 and Gt4 I use to not buy the sports brake upgrade. I then drove a car I loved alot the GT40 but the braking was so tricky it was tricky to handle on the throttle side as well. The only real solution i found was 0 0 brakes.

The lesson really stuck with me that sometimes to go real fast you need real weak brakes.

Nice new splits.

@ Wilco nice job.

And now the wheel is broken. The force feedback is now rough and chatters when ou try to go around a corner. Guess I'll have to see if logitech sends out a new one.

Your new wheel got broken the first week ?

Wasn't sure I'd get to give this one a go (started tonight), but I dread High Speed Ring, so I'll wait to get started there.

Tooled around with a few of the tunes (spun around with all of them), wound up tweaking Mark's:

29.533
26.378

I'm trying the sleep-more-drive-less trick.

Submitting; T3 is a bit timid, but sleep is good.

Improved on my lap time, with almost same splits. Submitted my time. Heading over to the 'high speed ring' now.

I've given up with this one, tried and tried again to better my 1st session time but to no avail. Don't have the patience to keep going :(
Going to submit my time 👍

Had no time whatsoever this week to have any more runs at this!

But, still submitting with my current splits! Pretty good T3 I think so can't complain to much! :)

Run this to death over the last hour and a half. Got to within a tenth of my current best lap, had one final tweak of the settings, but no faster.

Petty happy with my lap though, t1 and 2 are basically my pb's.
Had one lap with a t3 that's 0.18 faster than my fastest lap, so will just have to hope it was a fluke.

Not one of my favourite tracks but a really enjoyable combo. Good luck to those still running, I'll submit with current splits.

I've submitted my times for this week. Al, Mike, and Ryder I think you guys have the podium "all sewn up".

Good luck to the people still grinding those tenths, hundredths and thousandths.

After the crazy events last night at Spa, I'm looking forward to a small session on this at a more sedate pace to try and nail a better submission lap :D

Some great splits posted so far, D2 guys!
