By the looks of the leaderboard, nice splits Chris 👍

Do you have a problem with your Fanatec? I noticed a post where you said you were using your G25.

Thankee. 👍

Yeah the GT3 went mad in an online race a couple of weeks back. Poor thing was under alot of pressure and has gone for a bit of respite at Fanatec's rehabilitation clinic. The G25 seems to be holding its own so far, which is a minor miracle considering the noise it makes. :nervous:

Why we are on the subject do you have any medication that will help get me off my backside and actually try to rediscover some form? :sly:
Errr... I use a strong mix of Coffea canephora and milk, served on a bed of angry determination.

Chris, mind if I ask what BB you are using?
Sure Dan - using 2/4 ABS 10 :)

Edit - my keyboard seems to have a thing against indefinite articles... :dunce:

I've used 5.5, 5.6, 3.6. :indiff:

Not as quick as him but I kinda like 3 7 or 3 9 and ABS 4 myself.

3 7 I like better for corner 2 and 3 9 for the entry to the esses. Tried 3 8 but the compromise...didnt seem to work good for either.

I tried 1 abs and different things. I dont know im not that good at braking with a wheel seems I would lock them up all the time.

Got use to the 4 abs and now cant get rid of it.

I liked 4 6 and abs 1 for my DS3. Alot better at fine controling the brakes with it.

Perhaps something there might help you Dan.

Great splits Vagabond! Looks like you guys will make me hit the seat soon, judging by your splits.

I'll give those settings a try. Been using ABS at 2 and 3....gonna step that up a bit. Thanks for the help! 👍

For the rocket ships out there, I was wondering. What gear should I be in to max out the home stretch run through the last turn? Should I down shift going in and then up shift at the bridge or carry more speed going in and pray as I enter the turn without down shifting and hang on for the final?

Thankz in advance :)

Well, I take it in 4th and then shift to 5th on the exit, when I'm in peak power to maximize my speed on the straight.
I take it by going for broke, I bomb the corner hoping I don't hit the wall and also hoping that I won't loose too much speed while braking. Nailing it means I don't drop bellow 207 km/h and then my line crossing speed will be 262 km/h.

Been playing for a couple of hours now and it's not coming back to me at all :grumpy:

I don't understand whats going on, if I can get used to a wheel having never used one before in a couple of hours, how the hell can I not use one now. Having a terrible time, my settings feel wrong and I have changed them so many times now and still can't find anything that feels right

Out of interest have any of the recent updates effected any of the wheels?

Maybe you need some good old online race to bring your skill back, fancy a race? This question is directed to everyone interested, just add me on PSN and I'm willing to host asap.
No seriously, I'd love a couple races right now.

Lost my patience with it and turned it off

Don't understand how I can be so bad, I have only been away 2-3 months.

May try again tomorrow but after tonight's experience I can't see myself in a hurry to get on the computer. Saying that my little boy is here for most of the day so it won't be until the evening anyway.

I can see this lasting weeks and not days before things improve and I get back to the speed I was. At a guess I would say I am at least 2 seconds slower than what I was at the moment :ouch:

You do remember that you have to take really weird lines on this track to be quick? Stay as close to the wall as possible for better grip. Keep at it mate you'll get there in a few days 👍

I am on about any track/car combo, really struggling with the wheel, and pedals for that matter. Tried 4 or 5 different tracks, even raced old ghosts to see whats wrong. Not good at all

Afther some hard trainning and lots of practise with a 'master' (whom's name can not be mentioned because of privacy matters) i was able to 'frighten myself with these splits.

27.151
21.081

improved my endtime aswell, you're prediction 'master', came true ;)

I'm back :)
Busy with soccer and work this weekend but i'll get in some laps here hopefully.
I love stock time trials!

Nice Al! Div 4 has some good tight splits.
Here are my settings for the T500rs, just incase it may help others or maybe someone may have better settings.
TC=1, Skid=off, AS=mild, ASM=off, ABS=4, CSS=7, FF=3 and Simulation Mode.

Slightly better splits. About. 17 better at the line.

I wish I didn't suck at turn 2. Near perfect t3.

26.837
20.626

.004 slower on theses splits but T3 was 3 tenths better! don't know if I will ever catch this ghost. I will keep trying!

Al

27.234

Added a little speed, bb 2/2, need to smooth out some of the turns, wide is the way!

27.000
20.840

Just had another quick session for the first time in a couple of days, but it seems I can go no quicker. T2 is my downfall, otherwise I'm reasonably happy with my T1 and T3. Will probably submit with my current splits...

Good luck to those still running. Great battle in D2 this week 👍

Haven't run anymore laps since...whatever-day....been a bit ill, but I am ready to tackle the car that an elephant sat on once again!

Good turn out this week! 👍

I'll probably end up submitting with the splits on the board. I've been away for a few days and any time I do that I have a very hard time keeping up with previous pace. I'm very happy with overall time even if there is another tenth out so on the track for me. Good luck everyone. Oh, and nice job Green.👍 It's going to be exciting to see the results.

Splits from/after yesterday's session:

26.694
20.696

Thought after that session: damn this car is wide. :D
