Awww weak!!
Just set my fastest time by over a tenth but for some weird reason the time went red in the corkscrew.
I wasn't even touching (or over) the dirt :( just got a bit airborne down the hill.
Gives new meaning to the term 'flying lap' I guess.
The split was a 56.233
I'm assuming I won't be able to send that lap in so I guess i'll just have to beat it!

Didn't quite beat it but I did limbo my old time by over a tenth again so i'm happy for now :)

If you can save the replay I don't see why not. As long as it goes by WRS rules, I can't see how there will be a problem with that. You say you're not even touching the dirt so surely you are well within the WRS rules.

I would keep hold of the replay and see what the admin team have to say about it 👍

Edit:

By the sounds of it the game has invalidated your lap because you were airborne, to me that's the games fault and the lap should count.

I will be trying to find some time to have a go at this again today

Edit 2:

Here you go, to me this makes it official that your lap is still clean

In situations where contact with the track is not possible because tires are airborne (above the ground), then the run is only legal if at least two tires would have made contact with the track if the car were not airborne.
If track contact cannot be 100% determined, then consider it dirty.

You can't save a red lap as a 'best lap' unfortunately, so it's not valid for WRS submission I believe. I'm sure an admin will clarify though...

Sounds like a flaw that needs to be fixed, people running the GT Academy will have to hope that there is no instances where the car is airborne

May work in everybody's favor though, will make PD realize it's an area they have missed :sly:

Simalar thing happened to me in WRS week 62 (Benz) you could end up with a red time even if you had at least 2 wheels on the tarmac... PD does not want you to cut at these places, so as soon you put one wheel there, you get a red time.....

I can see just by adding more to the front ride height on Kev's tune certainly makes the car a lot faster, if only I knew how to tune the rest I could sort out the problems with the car not wanting to turn quick enough. Adjusting the ride height has helped a lot.

Where's some other wheel tunes when you need them? :sly: Biffy's pad tune does not seem to work with the wheel :(

Here are some knew splits for now

T1 20.787
T2 19.359
T3 16.729

I have seen faster T2s and 3s, hopefully there will be some more wheel tunes by the end of the week to help me out a bit :)

This is correct.

There are a few other examples that I recall, such as Eau Rouge at Spa, where the game set boundary is actually tighter than those we define.

If a lap is red clocked, that over rides anything from our rule set. We need the laps to be Best Lap replays, they cannot be full replays, for a myriad of reasons.

Another step closer to full power.:)

I'm running Kev's offline tune with no changes yet, if I mess with it, it'll probably make it worse.

You might want to try playing with the LSD settings. Especially the decel or braking setting. For the most part If understeer = lower decel if oversteer (tries to spinout on entry) = raise decel. I believe i got this info from a forum on here title "rough notes on car settings" by Eclipsee. I could be wrong, but it sounds familiar. Have a look.

Need Help!
Power: 831 HP (After Oil Change and Engine Break In - Max Power is fine)
Weight: 830 kg (Use of Ballast and Ballast Adjustment is Optional)
Engine, Intake, and Exhaust Modifications: Not Allowed (Stage 3 Engine Upgrade Verifiable by Watching RPM's on the HUD)
The car in my garage has all engine and exhaust mods, which according to the rules is not allowed, but my power is 831hp. What gives? Am i missing something?
My bad. Didn't actually get in car before going to tuning garage and therefore was looking at the wrong car for installed parts. It appears these things are N/A anyways. I am however running the titanium exhaust which cant be removed ? Is this okay? I am on default turbo which i know is required.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the Titanium exhaust is stock for this car I can't Check right now as I am at work

Yes, the Titanium Racing Exhaust is on by default and not considered a modification. Here are the stock parts taken from the online enduro thread:

PS> Any of you interested in the online race, today is the last day to qualify.

I really want to say thank you to Kelly. She inspired me to try this combo again. After day one I decided to quit and not do this week, didnt drive at all the next day. She kicked some butt in the 787B and it made me think maybe, just maybe, I could to if only I tried again.

Thanks Kelly.:)👍

(I was 1 second down each sector from Twissys splits after my day 1 sessions and I assume he got me by 4 seconds at the finishline.:ouch:)

Women tend to inspire man to do great things :sly:

On another note, why don´t you accept my friend request on PSN? :scared::dopey:

I meant to send you a message of encouragement and a friends request myself and a tip who to hit up for the best tune.:)

Then I didnt know which account GTP or just me jack5428? I couldnt decide then got all into studying how the current top ten drivers drive and the differences between this dude and that and how I currently drive and...alot of stuff and forgot to. Sorry.

Dang it Jack. I was looking forward to a guaranteed podium this week. Only three of us competing with this car, and all was well.

Now we have to start battling.

At first I thought I'll drive the RX-7, but the 787B is such a great car as well. I wish I could submit a time for both cars.

My first 787B splits:

19.309
17.582
15.559

19.260
17.530
15.464

Hey guys. Just figured I'd have to show off the colors this week.

This car once took me through a whole RX7-TC championship, and has lead a sorry life in the back of my garage since then. However, after a bit of restoration work on the chassis, she is again in very good condition.

Viper those are some sweet splits.👍

This half of the race is definitly heating up perhaps we will get some more defectors to the 787B?:)

And now a word from our Mazda sponsor.

If you feel the need, the need for speed...try the 787B.

It sounds like the name for a jet.

Theres a good reason why.

It really can fly.

Zoom Zoom.

Back at it. Missed the track and group, Ok Div 4, race on!

First trys using Biffy's tune. Pearl Yellow TC.

21.316
20.077
17.568

Early splits, 787B

19.310
17.647
15.898

Edit: Better T1 & T2, slower T3. Can't get consistent T3's, time to be gained there.

This thing is a beast around here. I don't know how the guys are going to race this car in the Enduro for 2.4 hours. That would wear me out!!!
