Thanks, I knew you were lurking in the weeds.

Had a best t1 of 18.990 but got super tight as soon as I saw it.

Go to town put the hammer down those are my PBs your seeing.

First corner Im kinda clueless. Last corner can do better but hey had to make you sweat for at least a minute didnt I?:)

Submitted with final splits, fun but tricky combo! Go on Jack! another demon with the pad i see!

18.965
17.084
15.346

Final splits? Yeesh, I'm just starting out!

I'm picking the RX-7 for some odd reason.

20.840
19.383
16.854

Hope to figure out T3 tomorrow night. And, y'know, T4.

Gave the beast a try to see what it was like offline... Turns out it wants to kill me even more than it does online. Jack, I hope you don't mind I borrowed your T1 :P

19.111
17.388
15.147

I may have to drop out of this one.... already totally addicted to Week 64 :P I love the 787B and everything but Laguna gives me a headache. Might have a last run tomorrow but today is devoted to the Cobra. :mischievous:

Great going Baron, Jack, James and Jonas. 👍

Thought I'd post something for this one but it doesn't look to promising :(

T1: 21.600
T2: 19.830
T3: 16.989

I must have a week rubber band w/ only 493 hp :banghead:

---------------------- QUESTION -----------------------

When the Tc is broken in, how much HP will it have?

I'm at 497 now after Bobz help

That's the lot, Lefty. At least, it's all I've got.

Running the RX-7 TC. I just can't seem to get the handle on this one. I used to love this track way back in Papyrus Indy Car days, but I just can't get the hang of it here. These will probably be the times I post with as I am having so much fun on the sadistic side of Kevin over in Madrid!

20.830
19.529
16.613

T1: 21.600
T2: 19.830
T3: 16.989

I'm running both the EDK and Biffy specials for this one and they are constantly tradeing my fastest lap back and forth. As it stands now Kevins setup is working the best but now it's Biffy time  I am also running a 4 speed for this one as well.

T1: 21.265
T2: 19.775
T3: 16.917
Another grand slam :)
Thankz to Kevin and Biff for the setups, the car is so much better and enjoyable to drive 👍

If you could get 2nd in either class, which one would play better towards your upgrade to the next higher division ranking?

Do I have to post my 787 splits at least once before submissions close inorder to submit my different class fast lap if I was going to jump ship at the last minuite?

Probably my final splits:-

20.720
19.241
16.502

Using Biffy's tune, I should have used it before it's great, thanks for posting it Biffy.👍
I might get another go later but I'm going to submit this lap as I can always submit again later if I beat it.:)

hi ASH, ooops think i missed the deadline for the final lap time on #63, fetchbot isnt accepting my time.

Hopefully my splits will still count for something or will i be disqualified?

You have not missed the deadline as that is some hours away yet (11.59pm GMT). A WRS moderator will be able to tell you why it's not being accepted but you are probably doing something slightly wrong as fetchy will only accept it if it's exactly correct.

You didn't miss the deadline. You still have over 11 hours to submit or improve your lap time. When you submit your time it must be in the right format.

If your lap time is 1'10.100 for example, the PM you send to WRSFetchbot has to look like this:

Another 30 minutes because I got off work early

19.104
17.271
15.230

Wild and crazy lap, very unlike what I usually submit. Went sideways out the corkscrew and had two wheels in the sand in T3. No idea how my final sector is but I suspect there's at least half a second at the line. Will see if I try to chase a few tenths later tonight.

19.049
17.189
15.210

Found 2 tenths, much more "me" this lap. No sliding around out of control, just two dips in the sand but I don't think it slowed me down. Submitting this for now, maybe if I had started a bit earlier in the week I could've made Twissy sweat a little. :sly:

Yet another week where I didn't get as much time as I wanted... :(

I'll submit my time though.

Well I guess this is where I jump ship up to the 787 w/ this, I was using a 3 speed tranny on this one

T1: 19.617
T2: 17.656
T3: 15.719
This thing just had mountains of torque, it just kept going faster and faster :)

It's all about the hole card now "Mill", good luk 👍

Steward's Comments:
We're going with the Special Event IV Theme this week. You have your choice of cars to use for the event. Results will be posted for each car respectively. The leaderboard will not show which car you are using, but please share in your posts. You have to choose one car or the other, you cannot submit times for both.

Welcome to the dark side Lefty. :P Do we need to specify somewhere which car we're using or will it be obvious when the admins tally the results?

Here's the tune I was using for the 787B if anyone's crazy enough to try it. I call it the McMazda F1 GTR '787 (because I just copied my F1 tune straight up).

Code:
-20/-20
7/7
7/7
7/7
2.0/1.5
0.00/0.00

7/11/6
60/85
5/4 with ABS 10

Tranny trick then final 3.807 so max speed reads 322
Use gears 2-5, AT

Started this combo (RX7) only yesterday but realised I didn't run it using my GTP tag.:dunce: I couldn't beat my first time but its close enough I think.

T1: 20.693
T2: 19.281
T3: 16.410

Thankz to Con & yanaran, I think I made the correct choices for this combo+. I used the little car to dial in the lines and the rythym and then used that info to push the 787. My confidence was higher looking at the leader board that my 787 time would yeald a higher overall as well as a better finishing possition. The no peaky thing of the smaller car wasn't as obvious as far as my finishing position would be.

Submitted and out, good luk all 👍

I had planned to run the 787b but never got around to it, and with only a short time now remaining I ran the RX-7 for about 90 minutes. Not exactly happy with the lap but it will do.

20.845
19.478
16.937

I won't be submitting unfortunately. When I deleted my game data to fix my wheel I forgot to export the replay.:dunce: I tried to tun a few laps this morning but I was just to exhausted from yesterday. Good luck everyone.

21.042 :ouch:
19.326
16.769

Actually a bit annoyed I couldn't execute here; lack of time meant I went the RX-7 for familiarity, but I should have been able to put together a better lap - particularly when dropping at least .2 on reliable T1s, even if I couldn't reliably get the .2 that was left for me around the cork. At least that particular lightning wasn't striking very often - perhaps I'd habituated to the safer line in online practice. Hope my T4 is solid :nervous:

Submitting.
