Really won't get time before cut off to put a stint in. Sorry but no time from me this week. Gutted I missed this, but you have to take the family on hols now and again.

Some great times in D2 guys, I can't see myself getting to the end of sector 2 any quicker, but I've got about 2 tenths left by tidying up my final corner. Will have a few more laps before the deadline.

I reckon I'm done... the damn MP4-12C at Monza has lured me away too soon. I don't think my lap is good enough to hold on for the win - lost over half a tenth in the last corner compared to my best, and down nearly a tenth in sector 1. Never figured out how to get into the 37s in sector 2 either so I reckon I'll be hanging on for 3rd place.

Good luck guys

Not pleased with my T3 on this, but my T1 was almost a tenth faster then PB. I didn't even see the split till I replayed. It was the first lap in 9 that I beat my ghost to T1 and wasn't gonna blow it by taking a peek :scared:

Think i´m done

37.403

Starting to hate T3 on this track :ouch:

Everytime i have a good split i mess up the last corner, but if i don´t have the pressure i nailed it almost everytime :banghead:

Lost almost .150 to my best in there so expect to drop a lot.

Good luck to anyone still trying to find the "missing tenth".

Think i´ll pass next week because me and Monza have a bitter relation :dopey:

Giving this one more run. I've left a couple tenths out there so I'm going to try to find them. If not, I'm pretty satisfied with the time I've currently got.

I am not satisfied with my time again this week. I put another 3 hours into it last night and saw a few XX.7's in T1 but couldn't hold the lap together. I will not be able to run before the deadline so I have submitted my final time. Good luck to all the last minute racers!

Im now losing about 2 tenths in the first sector from my personal best. Ill try again later on but I think I dont have that much to give anymore.

Still a bit dazzeled by the sector times ran by my friend Stef, I returned to track to try and find out what I had been doing wrong in sector 2. Found it :)

Now I will attempt to go for the div4 win, tryn to put all things togheter now, altough Mike set the standards pretty high 👍

Faster lap by .3. Going to post the splits but I need to check the data logger just to make sure the lap is fully clean. If it ends up not being clean in the spot I'm concerned with, I'll just edit the splits out.

37.698
38.218

From what I can tell the lap is good. No dip in speed or RPM, or any odd G-Force changes at that spot.

Nice splits, what are u doing in t2, ive tried everything but cant go faster than a .6 there

Flat out through the right/left of course and I try to get as far left before that corner as well. For the double apex right, I'm braking at the 100m sign, downshifting to 4th, and as soon as the car gets around 90-93mph, really depends on how the car settles into the corner, I hit the gas and power out of the corner.

For the long sweeping left, I drop it down to 4th, coast through and as soon as i get to the overheard sign before the crosswalk, I hit the gas. I think the best method through the long left involves letting the car drift out a bit so you can turn it back towards the curb and get a faster line out. Essentially treating it as a double apex as well.

The left/right at the end of T2, I trail-brake, drop it to 4th for the left and drop it to 3rd for the right. Using too much curb will throw the car off towards a wall and ruin the line so it's best to keep off the curb as much as possible in those corners.

Found some improvement, not enough for beating Mike's sector times but it is a start. trying different brake balance set ups now, got it at 6-4 at the moment abs 7.

38.759

I had a 37.5 on another lap that I threw away on the last corner. This lap I have currently is faster than that one would have been.

Nice frank 👍

I'd like to have another go tonight because my last corner on my best lap was so bad, cost me a lot of time.

I had another quick go and I think I'll be submitting with this

37.465
38.083

I've had an odd habit lately of not submitting my final time after reviewing it's replay.

I'll get to that right now....

To be honest, that would be my only chance, your splits are hard to beat for me, I will need a perfect lap for that, like Al I have seen x7.xx in t1 also better t2's then what I posted, but I need to glue it all togheter as I am at my limit here...

Edit : was able to improve on my laptime with 0.1 with these splits, not my best sector 2,

Cripes, I'm not even going to make the podium now?

Nice lap, transamguy too,and Mohit is out of his mind this week.

Well, who knows what's gonna happen. The final turn decides all matters :scared: :scared:

The lap just popped out of nowhere, didn't think it was possible. I can't believe how close so many d2 guys are to d1 pace!

Right, I'm done with this one. Going to submit with current splits.

Just had a 37.7 in T1, was so far ahead of my ghost then I get to the last turn in T2 and pretty much just plough into the wall, fuming :grumpy:

Just not getting the magic lap, either, but hey half an hour to go ;)

Time for my last attempts, i think this is the first time i have ever felt the need to try again this close to the deadline (normally i know i'm at my personal best, but i feel i can squeeze a little more out of this)

after 10 laps already taken half a second from my previous time, and i think i can see a few places i can get even quicker... only 1hr 20mins to go lol

Nice work, guys (Matt, Shawn...)

No more from me - frustrating but educational session last night. Got to 37.4s, and I think I could see how 37.3s and 38.0x0s could be done (although there might be some possibility of a slight speed/distance trade off at the T1 split, where the nod should go to speed)

But my T2s were awful last night whenever I needed a good one, or, on the occasions I was actually up at T3, guess what happened? :banghead:

Left a bit over .2 out there - good luck any still running!

Ok.... i give up lol... just completed quite a few more laps, and in every single one i messed up the first sector, gained some time in the 2nd sector, then either hit a wall or messed up the last corner so ruined the whole lap :( annoyingly i think i could have shaved another .3 off the lap if i had got it right, but i don't see it happening tonight :(

I did, on a more positive note, get to the time i wanted to tonight :)

T1: 38.710
T2: 39.355

Last minute desperation can be a wonderful thing... :P And it can be a headache in progress - I've just beaten my best lap 4 times in a row by up to 0.15 and tapped the wall through sector 1 every time. Then managed a clean one (just barely) knocking a whopping 0.06 off:

37.345
37.969

Lost a tenth in sector 1 but finally managed a 37 in sector 2. Still only an ok run to the line after missing the apex of the last corner and nearly hitting the wall on the exit :scared: But faster is faster... and that really is me done. Nerves can't take that barrier collision sound one more time...

Good luck all. Hell of a week.
