7 laps ish before I had to do something else :(

Pretty slow, but its a sweet combo :D

38.745
28.378
30.453

I used a this:
Tune makes no sense but makes for me a 2 sec improvement over a default tune.

max speed 300

Suspension:
-39 -25
9 11,6
3 7
3 7
3 4

2 - 0,5
-0.05 - 0

LSD:
10 10
40 40
5 5

Brakes:
3 5

New times, only to notice that the 4th sector was not the best and 3rd can be better.

38.373
28.301
30.460

I take it there is no issue with using the Torque distributing diff?

Works nice and "safe" on 30/70 and if you want it a little more crazy, 25/75 suits :)

Needed a break from the Nascar, bought the Porshe and done some paintwork. No tune used yet, just seeking the right lines. Came up with this afther a 20 lap stint.

38.792
29.348

Used Priano's tune first :

Ok this is my first run at it and my first official time post, so I'll be interested to see how I go.
I must admit, tuning is definitely not my strength, but here goes.
T1 - 38.705
T2 - 28.904
T3 - 30.368
Cheers!

Oops - double post there Phoenix...

Merry Christmas folks - hope you all got what you wanted and/or deserve. :sly: :D The missus bought me an obutto oZone cockpit! Not sure I deserve it but not going to quibble over that haha. She's such an angel, honestly... she constantly amazes me with her tolerance for my obsessions.

To business...

Never got round to posting this yesterday (sorry Dan ;) ) but here's my shot-in-the-dark setup:

To achieve these gear ratios, first set Max Speed to 137mph, then Final to 2.5, then individual ratios as above. Top speed should be 180mph if you've done it right.

Not an easy job to set this thing up - it seems to not want to be balanced no matter what. The above setup is fairly neutral on turn-in but if you push it too hard, it goes straight to massive understeer, so precision braking and a light steering touch required. Its good for throttle mashing the exits though, once you've hit the sweet spot.
A small negative toe on the rear will make turning in easier but can also upset the balance for the exit.

37.585
27.909
29.817

Not breaking the 29.8 barrier for sector 3 yet but the Schumacher S is often a weak-spot for me. It took me an age to Gold it in the license tests and I've never really felt comfortable with it in any car. Sectors 1 and 2 pretty good so far though I think.

Have a great day guys!

Well sounds like you are having a Merry Christmas at that!! When you've got a good thing it's a keeper!! I've had "My Girl" for 50 yrs, she's a keeper too!!
Bottoms Up :cheers::D

My first entry using Chris's tune with a change in the brake setting.
38.874
28.933
31.203

37.654
28.143
29.730

Realized I was down ten hp, changed the oil and cleaned up the lines a bit.

There's more in t2 but this track is tricky.

38.711
28.778
30.832
Improvements overall, but still have a tuff time with t1.

Had a shoulder injury for a few weeks, but I took an extra weeks rest more then needed so that I would be sure to not aggravate it this week while on holidays. So glad for this sweet challenge to get me back in the seat.

first 150 miles

37.822
28.283
30.099

Seen better sector times in each, but can't string together. A little rustier then I thought.

I used Chris' gears (thanks) and suspension setup, but I left the front LSD at stock and tweaked the rear to my liking with 35/65 torque split. BB 2/4.
Another thanks Chris for the tip on negative rear toe. It instantly put me in the 37's in T1 without giving up anything elsewhere.

This car keeps picking up time or me. Just when I think I'm close to my limits, I tweak a couple things and I'm going faster still.

Nice going Baron - festive cheer makes good fuel.

The missus let me have few laps tonight while she chills out in peace for a bit. :P

27.757

37.511
27.672
29.852

Still losing my nerve through Schuey S but rest of the lap ok so far I think. Odd machine to try and keep at the limit. Fun though.

Hope everyone is having a great day. :)
