We don't do division demotions unless someone requests it, and even then it'll be a case-by-case basis. DQ's and submissions that aren't up to your personal par don't damage your handicap value, but we would take those into account when looking at a demotion request. They are very rare and in your case, not needed IMO. If you're having fun here, I would urge you to keep competing and just take a little more time watching your own replay before submission to make sure it's clean, taking the advice of @Mike11:

When I check mine I use the outside chase camera and if I think I am close I will rewind back then as I approach I pause then click the slow frame by frame button and keep checking the photo mode until I am happy I am going back towards the track.

When I got promoted to D1S, I hadn't had any results corresponding to a handicap < 1.333, so I thought it was going to take a lot more than just 10 events (same as for D1B -> D1S) to get here, if not forever... A very pleasant surprise!
