A steward hosted race room will be open soon. You can warm up in Strop's room till then.
You guys aren't going to tease me for the reason I went to autopilot during the race, are you?

I'm eager to see them as well. When will the official results will be posted?
Haha! You knew! He tried. Almost made it too. Had he pitted on schedule it would have been a much tighter race. Him being that far ahead gave me the carrot I needed to try to run him down. Not sure I could have ran at that pace if I were in the lead the whole time. The zero stop is going to be nigh on impossible. [/PekkaBait]
Of course not, but the manner in which you handled it was not good. You let off the gas very early right before turn 4, where there is no braking needed, which made Patrick think that he had knocked you off, which meant he waited forever for your 35mph butt to catch up. At least pull over if you're going to slow down! You guys aren't going to tease me for the reason I went to autopilot during the race, are you?
I wanted to publicly apologize to @anastasis14, it was fun to have you drop in like that, but the last-minute nature of it meant that we didn't get a chance to notice the lag until after the race had started.
The amount of bumps I gave you from behind is what I'm sorry about...after the first misjudgment I should have backed off. Hopefully giving you the place at the end was enough to show I felt bad.
Uh, sure, what's your point?Looks like the NA race was quite slow?
No point, just an observationUh, sure, what's your point?
The winner, crowhop, started from near the back, was held up for quite a while trying to get past a laggy anastasis14, and had some other things that held him up as well. But then he got in clean air and had no further battles.
2nd and 3rd place in NA were locked in battle with me for I-don't-remember-how-many laps, which ultimately slowed us down, but we enjoyed the battle so much we forgot about trying to catch crowhop.
EDIT: If @MadMax's zero-stop strategy had worked out, our NA winner would have been up there with the top placers from the other races.
No point, just an observation
I dont know why @MadMax would try a zero-stopper again, as he tested it in the EU race and it did'nt work out...
Thanks for the compliment.Because of @RoeszaGT s absence during the race I decided to make a race report about my race.

(The start)
WRS 25 Mazda is as Mazda does.
MH-17
I painted my car orange as it is our national color and the black stripes and rims as a small gesture to the lives lost and destroyed in the MH-17 Disaster.

Qually
After a bad qually I stood in 12th position on the grid which surprised me because I thought I would start further back. All excited to go racing I lost my cool, And went full throttle on the start not remembering this was the formation lap. Quickly I realized this and got back in line.
Lap 1
The first lap was quite hectic in the approach to the first corner I made the mistake to follow my qually line, giving space for @Luni Legacy to undercut me and take my position.

In the approach to the 3th turn I was on the inside but couldn't do anything from there. In the meanwhile @Thematic was right up my bumper and had a better line through turn 3 but fortunately I was able to keep the door closed and maintain my position.

At turn 4 I noticed that I was quicker than @Bergele and @Luni Legacy and for a brief moment I thought about going around the outside but I decided it was to risky.

An just when I got back in my position and saw a big smoke cloud caused by a spin of @Ruzzinvincable
View attachment 191504
I stayed o the left side of the track as we’re approaching turn 5 with three cars next to each other because of the small space and 3 cars I backed out trying to avoid a crash galore.

At turn 6 I had a better exit than @Luni Legacy in front of me and before him @Bergele. @Luni Legacy had a better line through turn 6 than @Bergele and was exploring his opportunities to pass @Bergele in the corkscrew but they left the door open on the leftside allowing me to brake them both out and gaining 2 positions in the corkscrew. At this point @Luni Legacy was so filled with joy and so excited of my brilliant move he decided to show his love and appreciation by using his horn as a way to share the love

At this point I noticed that @Nail-27 and @Don Mejillone already had gap with our pack (aprroximatly 4 secons). And I had some real catching up to do.
Then in turn 11 I made another mistake my apex speed was to low allowing @Luni Legacy to get my slipstream. I noticed Luni wanted the inside and gave me a small bump.
Lap 2
I decided not to make the same mistake in the rundown to turn 1 and chose the inside and bit early breaking to block the apex for @Luni Legacy on the outside. @Luni Legacy slightly touched me there and also missed his second apex allowing me to extend my lead on the pack.
In the rundown to turn 5 I see that @Thematic overtakes @Luni Legacy . At this moment I thought this is good for me as long as they are battling each other I can extend my lead on them and close in on Ned.
When I looked at the rear view mirror I saw that I was quicker through turn 5 allowing me to get further ahead and braking the slipstream they previously had on me.
Lap 3
Now that I had some clean air i managed to sneak up to Nail in the 3th lap I gained the 9th position from @Allibubba99 when he parked the car in a similar way as @Ruzzinvincible did. It think the clouds of both of them we’re identical

Lap 4 - 6
Slowely but surely I started gaining on @Nail-27 but a sudden loss of concentration caused a spin at turn 10 and followed by a big thank you, I’ll take your place from @Thematic . Fortunately I was able to rejoin the track in front of @Luni Legacy in the laps following I started to gain on @Thematic and eventually passing him.

Lap 7-10
I’m trying to get to @Thematic again which is going quite nicely in turn 5 of lap 10 I was finally able to capitalize on a mistake. He slides toward the track edge missing the apex allowing me to line up for the overtake in the run down to turn 6 because I had more speed.

Lap 11-13
In these three lap I gained quite a bit on @Nail-27 and just when i was preparing for battle he went in the pits. Which was a shame because I would have loved to battle with him on the track. But this was time wise a better option.

Lap 14 – 18
Because some drivers were pitting I got up to 5th place with @roamer2629 coming out of the pits close behind me he is now closing up on me. In turn 9 @roamer2629 gets a bit to excited and touches my left rear panel causing me to spin out and losing about 10 seconds but gives me the position back and we race on for another couple of laps before he passes me in 18th lap.

19 -20
Because of my late pitstop strategy the faster people are now catching up with me when @Don Mejillone came close I decided to wait a bit in the corkscrew and let him pass to lose a minimum amount of time instead of losing a lot of time in a possible battle.
Lap 23
Pitting time. At the exit of my stop near the end of the straight parallel to the track I see @Luni Legacy and @Allibubba99 fighting for position. At this point I think maybe i can catch them but then! 30kmh...ZZZzzzZZZzzz. I think ! yelled POWER at least a dozen times!!! I have better things to do than exiting a pit at 30kmh. I entered the track in 9th position

Lap 24
I see a orange silhouette getting bigger and bigger in my rear view mirror. I thought this was for position so i prepared my self but it didn’t help turned out it was @PASM . So what do we learn from this next time use the rearviewbutton instead of the rearview mirror to actually see the name of who"s behind you. Luckily I didn’t get in the way of @PASM to much.
View attachment 191522
Lap 27
Unfortunately I was not able to close the gap to @Luni Legacy and @Allibubba99 but I’m close enough to benefit if they make a mistake. With PASM now almost lapping them I hope they lose some time.
Lap 28
PASM has finished the race in 1st (congratulations!!!) but @Allibubba99 is still behind him as @PASM gets to the cruising speed which caused some serious heavy maneuvering from @Allibubba99 to get past him. Fortunately I could drive straight passed Bart and managed to drive around the outside of turn 3 and pass Allibubba.
Pumped with adrenaline to keep to position we move on to the 4th corner where @Allibubba99 had a better exit but I managed to keep the door closed. In the rundown to turn five I give some room for @Allibubba99 on the rightsize so I keep the inside line Because I Was on the inside I had to lose a bit more speed as usual to make the turn and in the process blocking of the apex and forcing @Allibubba99 to lose speed. He ended giving me a little bump and because of that I got a small gap allowing me to finish on 8th place in my first top 10.
I would like to thank all the drivers for some great action on the track. And last but certainly not least I would like to thank the stewards for investing a lot of time in providing these combo’s and races, great effort and greatly appreciated!!!
