Awesome.....what car is this....Tim Schenkin's car....a Trojan perhaps

EDIT:GREAT MEMORY...can't believe I dredged that up....I was flying in Cambodia at the time.

That it certainly was. The T103 was basically a T102 fitted with Firestone tyres, and a 3-litre V8 Cosworth DFV engine driven through a Hewland DG300 gearbox. It featured completely orthodox suspension geometry, and it had twin radiators embedded in the broad nose section. Sponsors of the F1 effort included the British branch of Suzuki, and also Homelite, while the names of Ferodo, Champion and Duckhams also appeared on the car. Australian driver Tim Schenken was hired to drive, bringing with him good credentials including a third place in Austria in 1971 for Brabham.

You are well informed Ned but it was in your younger days so you know that. THe car is the Trojan T103-1 driven by Philippe Bonny at the Historic GP last weekend at Zandvoort

It's A bit of Topic BTW

All those hours for nothing. DC'd after just a few laps. First time in a while for that to happen in any online room. :(

(maybe I'll be allowed to use the TV later tonight for the American race to make up for it)

Ah Great. Now my router connected to the Internet again after un- and replugging it about 3 hours ago. Hope you had a good race!!

Ah, crap! Somehow i totally forgot the race last night:( I hope I did'nt cause any problems by not showing up @MadMax ?

Congrats Bart on your WW win and to Pekka for his EU and NA wins!

Jon did well to get 2 2nd places 👍, and unless I'm mistaken, first-time podiums for @Iceman220 and @RoeszaGT. 👍

Let me know if you can't see those images. Still struggling a little bit with the recent image-related changed made to GTP.

The NA race last night was a blast! I was quite happy to get pole, especially knowing Pekka and Jon are capable of faster laps than me. I was able to keep them behind me until the final stint - both of them passed me on separate trips through the hairpin, after a slow exit from the right-left preceding it. Cracked under pressure!

Thanks for the quick results @Gravitron and for the congatulations on my podium but I had 2 before.
The first was in week 1 where is finished 2nd en the other one was even A win in week 4 at Big Willow.
THis was both in the C-room so actually this is my first real podium.

@Gravitron I use your pics from the results in my blog but didn't ask you if that's OK so is it? :nervous:

I had A pretty good race last night and only made some minor mistakes but they were costly.
@MadMax And @Iceman220 took good advantage of that. You can read the full report here:

Also I made an Photo-album and you can find that here:

It was once again good and clean racing with you guys 👍

I was happy with my race last night, improved 20 seconds over the WW race. No real mistakes in either race, just determined to run more aggressive for the whole race last night.

Nice driving by Pekka @MadMax in the EU race making a one stop work for a win, good fuel management to do that.

My one stop was in contrast poorly executed, I took one lap slow to make sure I don't go dry.
