GTP_WRS-Online Event 37 : Don't Cha Wish Your Golf Was Pretty Like Me? - Oct 4th/8th

Registered for EU! Got myself a wired connection now so hopefully won't have any of the connection issues I had in my previous race! :D

NA practice room open if anyone is interested.

ROOM CLOSED.

Also, I suppose a 1:58.073 (after three different setups) is too slow? Maybe I should skip this one... I'm looking at the fast laps from the WW race, and I am SLIGHTLY out of pace with those TIMES, but enough of a difference. Your thoughts, fellow WRS'ers?
i think you should race unless you wont go off track ,and others do .You can get some positions,
there is always a chance ;)

Your times are faster than my times. So, using your theory, anyone posting times around a few seconds off of the pace of the Division 1 & 2 guys shouldn't race on Wednesdays because we are too slow to do so, or will be getting embarrassed when getting lapped by the likes of PASM or Friday? Why would you not want to race just because you think you might not compete for a win? I'm ALWAYS about 5 seconds slower than everyone else and I show up for the races and have fun doing it (I actually came in 6th last week). In fact, I thrive on being one of the slower guys...it gives me more motivation to get better; and when I do finish above other drivers I consider that as much of a victory as the people who finish on the podium (maybe even more so).

So, my advice would be to race with us. Don't worry, you'll still beat me. :sly:

I'll be racing so no worries about being the slowest guy on the track :-)

That, and I usually don't do very well on fully tuned races. I don't know why it bothers me so much...

I'd like to register for the na race tonight. New to this site, and idk if I'll have time before the race to do the time trial qual, if that's a problem I can hold off till next race

We received your info via the form. 👍 Ideally if you want to race tonight and are limited on PS3 time beforehand, it would probably be best to spend the hour before the race in the lobby with us so we can make sure your connection and racecraft are good. But to fully register, you'll need to complete the best-lap replay submission detailed in this thread. That can be done after tonight's race.

New EU race room open due to connection issues:

absolutely fuming I know the issue what was causing me to appear to lag but there not a single thing I can do about it

The fire brigade paid a visit to my neighbour and my ps3 performs even worse than usual (I was away from home before the race). Disconnected when getting to the formation that counts. Also black screened in another race for ten minutes, I left at that point.

Signed up for NA race. In the last race my slow upload speed caused my car to jump around (while everything looked ok for me). If it happens again today please just say it and I'll drop out.

We haven't forgotten about results for EU and NA...still getting a couple more details from stewards replays.

Congrats @jtv90069 and @LLOYDZELITE69 on your wins!

Well done to @Iceman220, @Meister Fetz, and @PASM on your podiums. 👍

Was a great combo, Bart. :D

Thank you Lucas! I really do appreciate that! Finally I made a podium in a race 👍 + first top 10 overall - still kinda training champion, but I'm on my way!!! :gtpflag:
You had a podium in triple mix race iirc
