Really sorry guys, something weird happened. first I got thrown out of the pit on the way in,i had slowed down going in and the computer had took control and ended up on track again, then tried the pits again ended up out of the race. :(

All i can do is try again next time if you'll have me

Once again sorry guys

When you enter the pits too fast the game will take over and throw you back on track instead of having you go through the pits with no stop like at Red Bull Ring for example. Slower speed at the pit entrance solves the issue.

Monkey....Not to worry...this is why GT6 is so much better than all the other sims....its so....unpredictable.

Again a public apology for the brilliantly executed non pass that turned out to be a pass. I was following Roamer and Tuesday who were in a mighty battle....waiting for one or both to put a foot wrong...so on the way into the last hairpin While closely following Roamer who was in the process of passing Tuesday under brakes, I missed my brake point....ended up well inside Tuesday who saw me where I should not have been and jinked further to the left...my plan was to stop and then follow Tuesday around in the corner but he took matters in his own hands and voted for avoidance. Again I don't do Stuka moves on purpose. I owe you one. Thanks :bowdown:

Epic battle with 6789 the whole race...different strategys...were tense flat out for 52 laps

Hey not everybody knows what a Ju-87 is Ned...:D
Hope the battle with Tuesday kept you entertained :sly:
The JU-87 is really the FIRST ( or at least the first truely successfull) DIVE BOMBER and not a bad tank killer. But a STUKA racing move is a DIVEBOMB of the most offensive. A real no hoper.....like the one that the commentator says, "what was he thinking....."

Machineguns and cannon....forward firing...and back too.....useful additions to my Alteeza for tonight!

Im unregistered for the race. I dont have enough energy to keep up with this combo tonight. Have fun guys

Great race guys! Was a bit bummed out by my disconnect 7 laps before the end. Would have been P5 and my best result overall. See you guys in Monaco. :P

Great race last night in NA. After lots of connection troubles, I was happy to finally be able to run this event online.

I started in 2nd, and managed to stay glued to the back of Ruzinvincible through the first 10 laps or so. He made a mistake in the second to last corner that let me sneak by. He stopped on lap 15, while I waited until lap 18. I assume he was going for the undercut, but I short filled to the amount needed to make it to the next stop, rather than topping off completely.

I came out just in front of him at the start of the second stint, and managed to keep him behind throughout the stint, until we both stopped on lap 35.

We came out in some back of grid traffic, which worked to my advantage. One of those was MadMax86, who remained glued to the back of Ruz once we got past him. The gap was less than 1 second for the next 10 laps or so, mainly in the 0.5-0.8 range. Then he closed up to less than 0.5, and the race was on. Several attempted maneuvers, lots of side by side action, very clean, very fun.

With 4 laps to go, he got reasonably good overlap to the inside going into the final turn. I worked to hold the outside, but my normal line was to come in for that turn. I came in too far, he'd already gotten his rear quarter to my front fender. I tapped him when I set the car, and then he began to exit the corner, which caused me to spin. I looked at the replay, and while at the time I thought I was on the outside half of the track and we were door to door, that was not the case.

Nonetheless, he was very sporting in an iffy incident and gave me the place back at Dunlop, to resume the fight to the finish. He managed to get a great launch from the final turn 1 or 2 laps later, and full overlap into turn 1. There was nothing I could do to defend or take it back that time.

Fantastic race, @Iceman220. I'm glad you managed to earn back your rightful first place on the track, and that that mistake I made in the last turn did not ruin such a great effort. And I'm sure you'll end up with that D1 promotion very soon. 👍

I'll try and get some pictures of the action tonight, as I'm sure my brief descriptions do not do the action justice.

Glad @Iceman220 got a win in the Na race ,he was so quick in the EU race it was just unfortunate he made a few tiny mistakes that myself and @PASM could take advantage from.
That being said he almost took 2nd from me in the final laps was just my defensive driving that kept him only just behind .

@EDK I usually do well in the combos you put up like midnight motegi , Clio at trial mountain and this one compared to the other combos
I was a bit unlucky with Clio in NA race, I had the pace there but mistakely I put the tcs on
And at midnight motegi got rammed and hit up by spme mistakes
This was good one with that extra HP advantage.

I thought I had slowed down for the pits, although now thinking back it being my first race I may have let my nerves get to me. How i ended up out of the race I've no Idea.

Great fun last night. Had a good battle with Lucas for as long as I could keep up with him, but one little mistake and he was gone. Came out of the pits right behind Pekka and we were at it until the next pitstop. 18 laps of door to door action, clean fast and very intense. He decided to pit one lap earlier, and when I thought I had gained one position, he sneaked on the outside of turn 1 after I had exited the pits. Saddly he touched the grass at the exit of Dunlop and the battle was over. Pretty calm after that, the only mentionable fact was finally breaking into the 56' with an almost empty tank of gas.
Congratulation Ruz. I still think I liked you more when you spun once in while :D You were always fast, now you are fast and you don't make mistakes
