Hi, I'm interested in joining this series. I'm unable to race on the 28th but all other rounds should hopefully be possible for me as far as I know at the moment, so maybe put me down as a reserve if there is limited space. I'd prefer to drive my old friend Petronas SC430 if I'm able to join!

I'll have a look at registering later as I'm at work at the moment!

Also @nissman, when we made the old regs didn't we find that when we put mid turbo on the Z it gave it crazy torque figures? Around double that of the other cars? We ran it with it's standard turbo last time..

I'm very interested into this series, but unfortunately, I might not be able to participate because I'm racing into the series which starts at 21:00 GMT.

But my decision isn't definitive yet. I'll let you know as soon I make my final decision.

Yes I'm aware of that Lozz but I don't think it's an issue when it comes to lap times. We can't get anywhere near the HP of other cars with the standard turbo. Maybe we could try Low RPM Turbo on the Z instead to drop the torque numbers?

When I tested the specs in Suzuka few weeks ago the lap times for all cars were all in 0.2 sec. I just tested the Nissan Z with Low Turbo in Fuji and the lap times vs GTR are super close.

I suggets we use Low RPM Turbo on the Nissan Z instead. Then I think the specs are spot on by my testing.

Fuji Test:

Nissan Z - 1:33.722 - top speed 281 km/h
Motul GTR - 1:33.688 - 279km/h

Every race there will be a new registry, signing up now does not commit you to the full series only to the race on a Sunday, so if you cannot make a race don't worry đź‘Ť.

Yes, but you still need to register with the WRS and fill out the WRS online form, it helps a lot with the documents that work behind the scenes.

Ill have a go with the low RPM tonight, when me and @PASM tested them in the current spec they were very close đź‘Ť.

So does that mean I have to do the qualifier and stuff like that?

Yes I think the specs work well enough already, just an idea to drop the torque a bit on the Z. But if you guys are happy with the specs, no need to change them I guess.

I remember that very well PASM. Probably one of the best forum events on Gran Turismo ever. I still watch the race replays on YouTube once in a while. Still not sure how I got three podiums in that season with such hard competition. As you said great memories.

If there is a second grid or reserve drivers needed put me down. I wouldn't mind racing GT500's again

Great to see all af you again. Familiar faces from the Super GT scene. Can't wait for the first round.

There are no exclusions, everyone can join WRS. Having some experience in the Endurance Series will help. We are just as serious about the racing, but the atmosphere is more informal and there is more comradery if you ask me. And less rules and procedures to learn.

Ballast Handicapp
  1. 15kg
  2. 10kg
  3. 5kg
The top 3 Championship point Leaders receive the above ballast after each round (max 50kg). Round 5 all ballast is reset to 0kg.
I just reqlized, there is 5 races, and in race 5 all ballast is reset, and in race 1 everyone is on the same points so no ballast there either. that leaves 3 races that ballast will be in use, and if you lead coming into all 3, you get 15kg for each, that would bring you up to 45 kg ballast, so the cap limit of 50kg is not actually possible to get. maximim ballast is 45kg.
If you lead the championship from start to finish:
race 1 :0kg
race 2: 15kg
race 3: 30kg
race 4: 45kg
race 5: 0 kg

or am I missing something?

It's looking like a who's who in here.

Question: Are we locked into one car for the whole season, or can we use a different car for each race if we wish?

No your not missing anything, my mistake again :dunce:, I'll edit tonight .

Your locked into one car for the whole championship.
Unless a car is proven to have a big advantage after race 1 then it will be review'd but going by the testing there has been no large advantage found.

Nice to see you're still around

I have not really played GT6 this year but I will be ok after a weeks worth of testing

I see there is no Slovenian flag in GTP registry. :odd: :)
Working on it shortly, sorry about that.

@Chrisw265 it looks like you gave your driver info via the google form, but haven't signed up for WRS yet. See this thread.

Also someone filled in the driver info form with PSN = Charly00skold and GTP name = @CharlieNygma, from Spain, but I can't find any info on him. Let us know if anyone recognizes the names.

For this Sundays race only we are using this format for qualifying this is to help us put drivers in the correct lounge, so please allow a little more time on Sunday thank you, also please enter your practice lap times to help us arrange the room splits before hand.

Lounge Splits **Unique to this Event**

First, every driver that confirms their registration will be ranked using their handicap from the official registry.

Second, we will sort the confirmed drivers 90 minutes prior to the race and divide them up evenly. If there are an odd numbers of drivers the extra driver will be assigned to the A room. At that point the stewards convene and assign a director and supporting steward for each lobby. Then at about 50-60 minutes prior to the race the room #s and driver assignments will be published to the thread.

Third, we run an extended 15 minute qualifying session to determine the grid order. Drivers will then be asked to move to the room which they qualified for.

Registered.

I will try to get online for some practice this week, I haven't driven GT500's for quite some time so I'm expecting to be a little bit rusty!

You just need to fill this form in so your register'd for the online section.

@xStretch- were just waiting for you to send a replay in so we can the register you for the WRS https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gtp_wrs-registration-gt6-new-members-start-here.313756/

Here you go, PASM.
