Just registered. My evening just opened up :)

On my way!

Missed the Wednesdayrace so glad to be part.

Nice, some last minute participants. :)👍

The Main Lounge is open for some practice/warmup!

That was some fun racing last night 👍

14 cars on the grid so it was rather crowded in the first corner  ,very exciting race the next 10 laps.

Just saw the replay and to bad I caused kreezydoede to hit the grass and he lost it.
Sorry mate, you lost speed due hitting the sand ,I overtook left and steered in to soon.

In race 2 I was to close behind Racingworld on the straight, braked and lost the car completly, had to reverse.
Raced back to Speedys rear and that was that :),could not overtake but again a good race for the both of us,like in dozens of online races we always somehow meet on the track.:sly:
To bad most of the time you in front though ;)

Yeah, that was too bad. had a nice pace and was moving up. But that's racing, can happen, no hard feelings:tup:

The same thing happened more or less in race 2, almost at the end, so that race was also over for me. Guess it wasn't my evening.:(

Altough i had fun with the close racing, was a bit dissapointed not to have finished where i could have.

Anyways, there is always next time!

Yeah, was fun!
Honestly, I didn't expect so many people showing up actually. I think it must've been the biggest number we had on a Saturday. 👍
Of course with more drivers, more can go wrong. Especially with the grid start.

Anyway, here are some results.

These results are just informative and don't count towards the 3D3Racing Stats.

Registrations for the Lexus @ Eiger are open!

As the Academy will be on Saturday again, we'll move up one hour to run this when the Academy has finished.

(5:00 PM Eastern | 2:00 PM Pacfic | 22:00 GMT | Sun 08:30 AU (Adelaide))

I have been invited to participate in the PURE GATE 2 GT300 series which starts 1 hour before this. Which means that if I run I will be at least few minutes late each week and possibly joining during the first race.

Strange... I thought we had you signed to an exclusive contract. Let me check on that... you may be hearing from our lawyers. :sly:

That's funny I don't remember signing anything? however that could just be my extremely poor memory at work too :D

Forget the lawyers, you'll be getting a visit from GTP_Muscle soon enough He'll make ask you to sign it NICELY

As long as he visits you guys too. See you on track, huh? :P

The scheduling might actually lead to me making more Saturday Attacks, because I'll be awake and nearly ready. As opposed to uuurghBRAIINS^H^HCOFFEEGOAWAY

Maybe we can get these defectors to join us if we invite GTP_Wow to race with us.

If we are running baby monsta this Saturday I'll try very hard to make it. Should make a fairly interesting attack race.

Note that I'd like to also organize a practice/test session Sunday for the next enduro. Details to come tomorrow, but thinking about morning pacific so it doesn't interfere with the Super Bowl.

I was thinking for the racing today that we drop the "Attack Format" and do something different. This car is most fun in a pack and the attack format creates gaps by design for the 2nd race. So if you have an accident in the first race and end up 10 seconds behind your reward is to drive alone the 2nd race.

What if instead we just keep doing 10 lap sprints with reverse grid... as long as we have enough we just keep rerunning them. Maybe not even bother with quali for the first race, just start by reverse handicap. Basically like we did in practice Tuesday and it was quite fun. If you have a bad incident halfway through it's only 8 minutes until the next start when you are in the middle of the action again.

Finally, since tire wear won't even come into play over 10 laps we might think about turning it off completely so we can start the race on warm tires using a grid start? Just a thought with this last one as there is something to say for the skill in driving with cold tires... but given it takes at least 2 laps to warm them that's 20% of the sprint...

Good idea, I was thinking of doing something similar, mainly dropping the delays for the second race and just go reversed grid.
I'll have to adjust my first gear for grid starts though. :sly: It's way too heavy now.

Yes, will have to adjust first for sure!

So the format will be 10 lap sprints with grid start with false start check and reverse grid? And we'll keep doing them until we drop?

The nice thing about that format is anyone can join at any time and just jump in during the next race and also leave whenever they have to... each race will last 15 minutes so in a worst case scenario the wait for the next start isn't very long. New we just need a few more drivers to sign up!

Sounds like a good idea. I'll be there as usual, I'll sign up now.

Also, don't forget to post the first gear when you find a fix for it :)

Registration open for Saturday Attack format using Indyfinity on May 4th @ 20:00 GMT!

Signed up for it. 90% because I won't be home from work until 7, and then need to eat something, so I should be back in time, but probably no warm up.

:ill: Nooooooooooooo, not only will I not be able to run the academy, now this one to !!!! I've got to phone to SPA and ask if they put the 6hour race on Sunday !!!

Signed up for the attack races. Hopefully I get some good practice in the Academy to bring me up to speed, have run quite some laps for the TT but the laptimes weren't so good :scared:
