GTP_WRS-Online : Special VIII - 2.4 Hour Fuji Mixed Class Enduro - Dec 13/14

Sorry guys, I know you both have participated in a lot of our events, and you both have great enthusiasm for racing with us. But these Enduro events require A LOT of work behind the scenes to steward, and we need to place this event at a date that works for as many of us as possible, especially since it looks like it will be two rooms. It's basically a week-long commitment from us to attend pre-qualification sessions for all the racers, and then 3 separate races in one weekend. Let's hope PD/PSN can keep up with us.

After this post I'll be editing the OP and thread title to reflect the new dates.

The good news is that this is really just a swap - the Career event: FR Cup 445P that *was* scheduled for the 14th is swapping places with this Enduro.

I'm really bummed out because I was looking forward to this very much. But I catch your drift and you guys need to do what needs to be done. I understand your point completely. Hopefully I can catch the next special! I'll be thinking of the race action that I would've got whilst drinking a few on my citytrip to Berlin. Turns out my life ain't so bad!

I've got an idea for the poor souls who cant make the race due to shift in dates. What if we do an hour (support) race right after or before Paul's FR championship. In this way we still get some fun and action on this combo. I think it's to good of a combo to miss out on all of it

I would do this..... if i wasn't doing a 4 hour driver swap race at suzuka on iracing. Looks awesome though really would've loved to do this.

Hold on just found out the full race is on sunday i'll have to try the car out but high chance you might see me in the lmp1. 👍

I got a 1'30.6 (dirty) and a 1'30.7 (clean) last night in the FT-1. With almost no fuel in the tank and spamming the nitro button like a fool.

Got down to a 1:23.703 (3/4 fuel in the tank) with Bart's tune. Great tune man:tup:. I keep trying to change things to make it better, but all I do is make it worse. I'm thinking there's another .2 left in that lap.

I believe that's how you activate the KERS system on the FT-1. Even if you don't have actual nitro you can still use the mapped button to receive a power boost where you need it.

@Bleached and I were playing around with it last week and it can be very helpful in defending the normally-easy pass on the straight.

Opened a Club Room to run any Toyota. This (obviously) can be used to practice the two featured cars for the Special Event. Has anyone found out how many laps the Support Races are going to be? Last I checked it still says TBD.

Specs Finalized: Friday, November 14th @ 9:00 PM GMT

I'd hoped to get the specs down sooner, but it is gonna take a while longer to figure that all out. Been a busy 2 weeks for me, about to get busier next few weeks. I will do some testing tonight.

Just as a heads up, it is likely that we're going to switch to fuel/tire wear on Fast, pending the testing that has to be done with the VGT.
