For me it‘s the best best track to watch races and the beach is so close...

I was there for a week between the Spa and Zandvoort F1 races in 68. I was introduced to numerous frite sauces ( I’m probably the only Yank to use mayo on my fries) and too many great beers to remember . I watched testing in the Brabham pits where I met Dan Gurney. Awesome place for a 19 year old American to “wait” during the break beteen races.

A little question guys :) I had a quick look at a few threads couldn't find an answer.

Why has the race dates changed? To having the eu & na during the same week as the TT. I thought the idea of having them on the following week was to give people time to get used to the car & track. Especially when tuning is allowed.

We decided that folks would get greater benefit from having the OLR and TT more closely aligned. There is still sufficient gap between the new TT (Sunday) and the first OLR (Wednesday) and having them more closely aligned will hopefully means that folk may not lose interest in the mid-week OLR as it's now the current TT

Ah ok hopefully it works. I preferred the other setup especially when tuning was allowed. It gave more time to get up to speed and familiarised with track and car before the race. The biggest problem as you know is the fia's being on weds. Maybe when it's over we might see more people return.

Nothing is set in stone but I know the OLR team want to give this new format a fair shake.

One of my all time favourite cars in Gran Turismo , I hope it still drives as well as it did in other releases

Now all I have to do is get enough Cr's
That grind to 20 milion has nasty written all over it. It makes you really apreciate B-Spec races. In gt6 i used to just run my ps3 while i was studying, restarting a race ever 15 minutes and being able to grind 50 million in a weekend. O how the times have changed.

On topic of the car.
We did a combo with that on in GT6 loved the car and track

Got a ride in my friend's Viper the other day. I'm not a big fan of his switch to black wheels, I think silver would have been better, but ... it's not my car! :P We only did a ~2mile loop around his neighborhood (Magnolia in Seattle), which has really bad concrete/asphalt, so not a great way to experience it. He knew every spot on the route that the front was going to scrape due to being so low, and he mostly slowed enough on those to avoid it. He gave it the beans a couple times when traffic cleared ahead of us, and the way the rear was squirming and raring to go was awesome! He said he only hit about 50% throttle and no more, otherwise in his words "we'd be dead now".

^^Those 2x4's were needed just to get out of the slanted driveway without tearing the front off. :D

Another guy I met recently has a bunch of classic cars. I've seen his C1 Vette before (no pic yet), but yesterday was the first time I saw his Cobra. I'm not sure how authentic it is, but I'll ask him next time.
