Outstanding work from the Admin team and some awesome times by all đź‘Ť Here's my replay as requested...I was pretty happy with it in the end...trying to keep this car straight with a DS3 was tricky :)

Hopefully I got this all sorted right. Whoever checks this replay make sure you've not got anywhere you need to be for a while! :boggled:
Cheers!

I think that my submission didn't take because instead of GTP_WRS Week 1 Submission, I did GTP_canracer11 Week 1 Submission and GTP_CursedGhost Week 1 Submission, which seem plausible as correct (to me anyways). From what I have now been reading, I can only submit my own results using my login name and my son must login separately in order to submit his results. Is this correct?

Just noticed a funny thing. I have taken part in about 50 WRS competitions and this is the absolutely first time I beat GTP_Animera. And he was Div 3 and I was Div 2 when I started.

A good reason to celebrate if there ever was one. Thanks Ian for taking it a bit easy for once :D

Well done all!

Not sure which position I finished in and which one is the official one?
Finished 5th in division 4. (i believe this is the official one)
Finished 3rd in par division.
Finished 20th in total times with handicap applied.

Happy with this result, I didnt run after the update 1.06 just in case, so my submitted time was before update.

On a similar topic, has the handicap system been explained or is it a secret!

 Well done man, awesome time you submitted.
I have to admit that muscle cars are not my favourite, as Paulie will testify to, and then putting it on comfort tyres just threw me off completely.
I had fun though and learned quite a bit about GT5's physics.

 Now you mention it, I think I'm in the same boat bar starting positions. Let's crack open a beer and...........oh wait that's right no alcohol after surgery.:grumpy:

Edit: And as you know Ian muscle cars are my specialty, it would appear nothing has changed on that front.:D

From Paulie:

Edit: @ Eggman, the replays show the Best Lap as it was at the time of that lap. So what's showing in the replay is your best lap in that session up until the point of your new lap.

OK - that makes some sense, if I am understanding correctly. I will check it out tomorrow as it is getting way late for sleep to get up in the morning. Luckily, we had the day off here today. Cheers, and thanks for responding so quickly.

Hi all, I just tried to view some replays and cant seem to find them on my USB once i put it in my ps3 :dunce:. what i have done is save attached file to my pc then extracted the file using 'extract here' then copied the extracted file to USB. Does this sound correct or am i doing something wrong? any help would be appreciated.

You have to make sure the replay folder (the one with the long name) is in this folder on the USB drive:

PS3/SAVEDATA

Sometimes you have to create these folders, then put the folder with the long name inside them.

Wow, nice amount of submissions!!
Good job Admin team đź‘Ť

Congratulations to all winners and podium finishers

Fun but frustrating week, the last hairpin really hates me

Here's my replay, PAL

aaargh - I did 230 miles on that (my first) WRS event, my time wasn't great, but about right for my Division placing.

I was hoping to get some time in yesterday to see if I could improve before submission. I didn't get the time, and even forgot to submit grrrrr!!!

What amazing turnout for the first GT5 WRS. Very impressive times and well done to everyone who participated.

What a great turn out... hopefully this level of competition will continue for many weeks to come :)

Some great times posted... and clearly some people tried a 'little' harder on this one than they did on the qualifier ;)

wow, close and great first week. đź‘Ť Congrats to all podium places.
