A great combo, can't seem to unlock some of the speed - seriously fast times at the front, it's depressing to be over three seconds down at the second split (previously I've managed within 6/7 tenths, but it is a long lap). I guess either I need to be using an immoral amount of kerb, or more likely, you must be carrying so much more speed through the corner.

Submitting with these:
T1 0'59.832
T2 1'48.704

Renesis, go have a look at GTP_DHolland's no5 ranked time replay, helped me ;)

Ahh man what a waste of a night's driving. I did so many laps with no overall improvement. I even managed to obliterate a 57.896/1'45.123 at Casio. Good thing I have a G27 sitting in its box in the corner of the room because the outgoing G25 got a serious whack for that :banghead:

Hoping for better luck tomorrow. You know you should give up when you are a whole carlength ahead of your best ghost and you accidentally hit the shift-up paddle twice...

All the best
Maz

You're lucky the shift up paddle works for you. I hate having to go through the gears without using the clutch. Should have bought a G25 instead of the G27. Oh well, GT5 is almost here and then it should all work. Amazing times guys, but like Renesis says, it's depressing doing your best, and thinking it's a good run, and being so far behind. Even the 58 seconds T1s, are horrible to see. Means you guys are over a second faster than me by the first 1/3 of the track. :ill:

I have submitted my time. I don't feel like I could get much more improvement without putting more hours into it and I don't have the time to do that.

Good luck to everyone. Was a very addicting combo this week.

Thanks - I will have a look when I'm back tonight, although I have submitted already :dunce: I struggled a little choosing a shift-up point, there's a really obvious flat-spot in the engine between 8000 and 8200-ish, before it suddenly comes alive again up to 8500. So it's a case of ride it through, or shift early - most noticeable for 5th to 6th. Don't get me wrong, I doubt 3 seconds is going to come from shifting at the right point, but every bit helps.

Also, anyone else spot the oil pressure gauge moving about in the cockpit view?

That might be your problem right there...I also used to race in that view, since I started using bumper/bonnet view my times have seriously improved...problem with interior view is you cant see the apexes and you hae delayed response:crazy:

Another 2 tenths to grab at the line but can't put it together. Submitting with:

T1: 58.130
T2: 1'45.457

I would love to carry on with this but time has got the better of me. Good luck to everyone still trying. 👍

I submitted my laptime with the current splits on the board. I have no time left to improve, so be it. I had a lot of fun with this combo. It made me look up my old replay of the Spec II qualifier :D Got me to realise how much Spec II differs from Spec III and to see how my driving has changed. Thanks Kev and Vaxen 👍

Good luck to everyone! (pushing for that 0.001 ;) )

You have a point. Long gone are the days of using chase cam from GT1 & 2, I found it too difficult for GT3/4 so have used bumper-cam since then. But lengthy spells with GTR2 meant I rather enjoyed the cockpit view, it just seems more... real.

I do use bumper cam if I feel cockpit view is a hindrance - last week's GT LM being a good example. It can be a little annoying not seeing the apex - at Suzuka it's not really an issue as most of the corners are well-sighted and don't need a late apex (hairpin excepted). At Fuji it's a serious problem due to the final sequence of corners, where you can't see anything until you've already turned in. I did try this week's combo with bumper cam, and I may have gone quicker, but it never materialised so I switched back. I suspect mroe speed will come from better lines, braking points, etc.

Submitted my time with splits on the board, no more time to improve.

Sorry that I'm late with week 101, it's going to be about 14 hours before I have it up.

Was a bit of a busy weekend.........

Submitted my time, couldn't improve anymore. Pretty frustrating, I know there's 0.3~ sec to improve but never got a "perfect" lap...

New splits:
T1: 58.833
T2: 1'46.607

Please delete my splits as I have had no time to devote this week, I have been laid up with a serious bout of man flu

T1= 1.00.339
T2= 1.49.227

After a quick session on Sunday.
I'm just going to submit with these splits.

My final splits submitting with these ones, so happy atm you dont wanna know lol.

T1: 58.511
T2: 1'45.935

Hairpin was reallllyy bad but I am done and happy :).

Wow, 41 drivers on the list and less than a second between the first 10 spots! The 100th WRS definately delivered :)

Not had a chance to improve, so I've submitted with my splits on the board.

Best of luck in WRS' 100th week everyone, certainly got a great turn out 👍

Not had chance to get another go at this so submitting with what I have, can't not enter week 100.

Looks like you'll beat me for a change Steven. ;)
Good luck to all.

Damn! I totally forgot it was Monday!
I wanted one last run on this as I felt I could go alot faster.
Got about 10 laps total but I'll have to submit with the times on the board :(

Possibly my shortest three sessions ever recorded totalling less than two hours I'm fairly pleased to post these splits..what with my crooked back and the overwhelming sense that I've run this combo before somewhere...hmm

T1: 58.521
T2: 1'46.090

Good luck all.
D.

My PS3 bit it earlier this week & I couldn't take it. Bought a new already. However my NTSC copy of GTP is stuck in old PS3. Fortunately I have a PAL copy as well. Great turn out this week. Just when it seemed I was getting a hang of this car I ran out of time.

Submitting with these splits & about the worst T3 imaginable.
